Apparently some guy put $40,000 on the eagles to win at the start of the game. It was paying $1.08 or something terrible. I bet they would be felling stupid right now.
 
17th woo hoo!... Mind you I'd be on 73 if hadn't have picked Carlton every single week this year. Up until now my heart has been thinking "yep this is the week we turn it around"...

ah well. Im not sure going after Voss is a good idea. Everyone thought Tim Watson could walk straight into coaching and well , he didn't.
 
He still did a year and a half as assistant coach at Sydney. Which is more than Voss has done....
 
hmmm... this is true

For some reason so many of the AFL commentators in the media are really getting behind this idea of a club needing a coach with some profile to build interest in the club. I dont see it, I would have thought a good quantity of wins would be of great assistance in boosting profile

it's been a round of beltings so far, carlton st kilda game aside, everyone has be 10 or more goals

4/5 so far, going well.
 
I almost wasn't going to post in this thread again..... ;)
