Ooooh, I've been waiting for this for a while!
Okies, well, I joined Bluelight about the same time as Tars (June 2000 I think it was).
It was all very exciting and new. Whenever a meetup was organised at a party (or the like), everyone used to get together nad generally have a ball. Drugs or no drugs.
Then I strayed away from Bluelight for about a year. Didn't go to any meetups, didn't post, didn't get involved in the "social" side of it all.
Now that I'm back, I have made an attempt to try and get back into the social side of it all - and let me tell you it is fucking hard.
Everyone has formed these little groups, and sorry if I offend here, they seem a little elitest to me.
It's not that people are snobby - far from it. You just get the feeling that you are an outsider and could never be part of it, even if you wanted to. Especially if you are a more shy and quiet person (like myself).
I don't know about anyone else, but the whole reason I started going out and started going to the Bluelight social things was get involved, meet people/friends with similar interests, have fun, and bascially gain a feeling of belonging.
Sorry, but it is very very VERY fucking difficult to do the way things are these days...
