wes is probably from a foreign country and they are a long way behind.

I know about this stuff cos one of the other mods in ED, Purplefirefly, is from America and when Im getting up on say a thursday morning, she is just about to go to bed on a wednesday............pretty weird aye..........lol, the two of us were laughing about it the other day.

my bad it is thursday. ive been a bit out of it lately =P

in my defense, both tuesday and thursday are makred as "T" on my computer calender

its a learnable skill.

it has a high learning curve--but ive been drawing since i was like 3...

it doesnt come naturally, at least to me.

dont put her down like that. theres NOTHING worse than having someone scrutinize your artwork/skill when you arent confident in the first place. even in jest.

Well it says that the topic is up to interpretation. It's supposed to be a butterfly wing in flight and it's in an expressive style (i guess?) I don't really know how to categorise my art. Butterflies are "nice" to me as in pretty and beautiful etc so figured it can come under the category. Is that the explantion you were after or did i mis read your question?

Just acrylic paints actually. A few other people have said they look like fairy wings which i think is nice :D My son thought it was a waterfall when he looked at it sideways. I like that different people have seen different things from it.

L2R - much thanks again. Wow i really didn't expect so many people to comment and wasn't going to enter after seeing crystals but i was last to show my piece in the human body thread and didn't expect to win. Just wanted to share :)

I love art so much! Again i'm only in learning stages. Still learning LOTS of new things and i think my art is quite simple and primitive so thanks again everyone. That's really sweet that people said what they did =D

nah, trust me, the art gene totally skipped me and blessed my damn brother and sister. :p

i was quite the, errrm, drawer? when i was younger... but stopped for some reason. *meh* :|


doofqueen: np! im serious, i would love something exactly like that on my wall, it radiates beauty. :)
 
^^i dunno know about that, if pierre can learn physics.. you can learn art ;)

just might some changes in the way you think about things

well uhhh... maybe thats why you stopped improving? it isnt easy. i enjoy it which is why ive always been drawn to pen/paper.

if you dont enjoy it... well, then creating art might not be your thang.
 
lol i stopped cause of personal reasons pierre! lol gosh, which probably stole my creative bones, little of which i had in me. and no, i dont enjoy it anymore, even if i tried... cause i see how good others are and feel shiat. anyway, i much prefer to admire than create. :)

lol and sean, since wen did pierre learn physics?
 
i changed it because i initally entered the date wrong. it ends tomorrow, because i fucked up the start-date....

w/e ill get it right next time.
