i havent seen any bitcoin sites that mention Paypal. The choices available seem to be banks, wallets, or unique transaction symbols, as far as i have been able to work out so far. Its taken me so long as ive been stuppored. (I have been insomniacal for about 10 days, but now the fog from my head has finally lifted as i had a good sleep last night).

I'm not counting my chickens yet, ive known unexpected things occur and catch out the unaware newbie in many a field. I hope this will not be a simillar experience. If all goes well this is the luckiest ive been in my life, (well apart from that girl in the 6th form) at exactly the time i needed it.

I was looking over the brink at my second nervous breakdown. Caining it all night and working 40 hours a week was never going to end well. So I ditched the job, am gradually getting the drugs under control. I keep saying im not religious but Thanks God, Fate, whatever. Thankyou. I'll be good. Well I wont be bad. Or too bad.

Free ice creams all round at Snowdon hahahahha

i heard paypal where going to start accepting it as payment, the problem with buying bitcoins via paypal/credit cards are charge backs etc

It's been more than 3-4 days I think, probably more like a week. Makes it pretty sketchy to ever transfer money into it - what happens if you stick £100 worth of bitcoins in then it goes offline? What if you make an order then it goes offline before the vendor sees it? What if it never comes back online? I'm giving it a wide berth for the foreseeable future.
There's meant to be a setting that if the site disappears it transfers your balance to the wallet of your choosing, but. I wouldn't hold my breath about that. Also doesn't counter outages like this. Wouldn't be too surprised if that new website is the reason that older website is suffering, though..

i still dont know what the fuck im doing with my bitcoins. I dont think the people running the sites do either. I've had 2 opposing answers to the same question - can you do a straightforward bank transfer to me. One say yes, the other No. No choice but to play the waiting game.

Im waiting on them. Also waiting on intersango to decide when they are going to send me the 150 € that was left over on their site.

I also put one on ebay for the hell of it to see what'll happen. Fuck knows how im going to do to that 1. the sites control the value so if the site says its worth 95€ and my buyer has bidded me a £150, then ill just have to see if hell do a bank transfer. dont trust paypal. Can someone implant the bitcoin advanced knowledge level chip into my brain please.

You can just cancel a sale at any time on ebay right ? The cancel option does nor appear anywhere prominent anymore. :?:sus:

im not ripping anyone off if theyve bid me £150 for something worth €110 now actually. Buyer beware ?

like i said mydruggybuddy, send me your bitcoin wallet and i will look after your bitcoins.

How kind of you Ceres to offer to relieve me of my issue lol. Fortunately i am currently blessed with a lot of free time to put some work in here now. unfortunately my mental clarity comes and goes.

Why do bank holidays always happen just when you least want the fuckers to be on holiday. :?

It looks like my e-bayer bidders know what they are doing, the auction is currently bid at half of market value with a few hours to go. I was hoping to find someone like me who didn't have a clue what they were doing lol.

A sensible eBay bidder will bid at the very last moment, so as not to generate a bidding war driving the price up. So it's normal for a little flurry to occur near the end of the auction. Don't count your chickens until they've hatched.

Japanese police target users of Tor anonymous network

Japanese people who "abuse" the Tor anonymous browsing network could be blocked from using it.

The recommendation was made in a report drawn up for the National Police Agency (NPA) in Japan by a panel of technology experts.

The panel was formed to help decide how to tackle crimes committed with the aid of the Tor network.

For months, Japanese police attempts to catch a hacker known as "Demon Killer" were hampered by his use of Tor.

The hacker continued to taunt police in emails that sent investigators all over the country looking for him. In a bizarre twist the hacker directed investigators to Enoshima, an island off Tokyo, and gave them information that led them to a cat wearing a collar on which was a memory card.

The card held details of the code and malicious program he used to gain remote control of victim's computers. Inadvertently, directing police to the cat helped them catch the suspected hacker, Yusuke Katayama, 30, who was seen on CCTV footage with the cat.

Bwahahahahaahahahahahahahahaha!!! =D

fuck ebay, they could buy it and in a month later do a charge back, you can get £72 quid a coin within 30 mins into your bank

:\

how can they do that ? anyway bitstamp have sold the rest for me. Just waiting on them to get round to transfering the proceeds to my account.

Are these companies like intersango nad bitstamp totally legit ? I mean they might string people along like fuck, but they're not straight down rip off merchants are they ?

if they pay with paypal on ebay and they did a charge back via credit card paypal have no choice but to reverse it

How can a seller recover funds when a chargeback occurs?

When a chargeback occurs, the money that is subject to the chargeback is deducted from PayPal's bank account. In turn, PayPal places a temporary hold on the same amount in the seller's PayPal balance (i.e., the funds related to the transaction are frozen).

The seller and PayPal can work together to investigate the chargeback with the buyer's credit card company. While the chargeback is being investigated, PayPal will debit the seller for the amount in question. If the investigation is resolved in favor of the seller with the credit card company, the credit card company will reimburse PayPal for the chargeback and PayPal will transfer the recovered funds back to the seller. Depending on the credit card company involved, the process may take up to 75 calendar days. In a dispute over a chargeback, the decision is ultimately made by the credit card company and PayPal cannot control the outcome.

thats why all these bitcoin sites are pay via BT and not paypal/visa

auction has ended. I appear to be 'close to completion' with bitstamp, so its just keeping everything crossed for a few more days.

One of the workers appears to be very helpful and clear, whilst his colleague is the opposite.

A niceley phrased email to the CEO will be pinging over if this isnt sorted within a couple more days.

to cash out you can use btc-e.com's various methods. paypal is available for amounts about 200usd but it's a 6% fee. There's a few 3% methods iirc.

Coin is shipped from CANADA and can take up to 28 days to arrive in the UK, although usually arrived within 7-14 days. I say 28 because, if I don't some idiot will give me a negative rating for shipment arriving late and I don't run the post office so I would rather overestimate.....
