Beta ketone test?

There is a test for ketones which uses 1% sodium nitroprusside and and drop of 2M NaOH solution. This will detect methcathinone and most likely also 4-MMC. Not sure about methylone though.

why shouldn't it react with methylone? It has the ketone (C=O), right?
I can make some of this reagent if there's anybody who can test it for me?
 
Just got out of the lab, made some solution.
works great on acetone (also a ketone)
are there any volunteers that actually know how to get their hands on (preferably all) of the substances mentioned in this thread?
