Best & worst drugs to come down from

I was a silly boy and did 0.4g of polish speed in a night before. After the last 100mgs I was still awake 24hrs and 5 blues later. Ended up just taking more whizz and doing a 3 day stint. The comedown was not pretty but fuck I love strong speeeeed! <3 %)

worst comedown?......hard to say cos i dont really suffer that bad anymore from comedowns. the first time i took speed i vowed never to touch it again cos of the nastiness it left me in the day after but nowadays i can handle it pretty well and even sometimes enjoy it. same with ecstacy.
never had a coke comedown before or crack but the craving wen theres none left is pretty unpleasant.
cant say about meph cos i was under the influence of other drugs.

one thing i cannot stand is a hangover. hate drinking....everytime i drink nowadays it winds up being a drug fuelled session.
 
i did a gram of polish speed,maybe same stuff=it was rocket fuel.
same nite drank more than 1btl of morgans spice.
really bad hangover lol.
to make it worse did meph to try and cure me sunday.

i never get any comedown from mdma/mdxx

last year at life festival was doing mdxx pills/2-CD/hoffs
had an afterglow for days.
 
I dont really get bad comedowns, or bad hangovers - but if i take ecstacy the chances are ill want to kill myself a few days later however id rather have that feeling anyday than risking a bad hangover. If i get a bad hangover i absolutely fucking die and im useless. Thank fuck I usually remember to neck water before bed.
 
Drinking pint after pint of water still leaves me feeling hungover to fuck and dehydrated in the morning. Valium!
 
I agree Cornish, I can drink my body weight in spirits whilst sniffing coke and wake up the next day after just a couple hours sleep and feel fine, eat no problem, go off to work without is being a major effort etc. Weird but it's true.

That's a good point, I'm never sure if it means the drug wearing off as you return to baseline, or the feeling of being ill as fuck for 3 days that put me off speed forever.

MDMA is the worst for me and it's not a drug I want to revisit now, it ended up making me feel ruthlessly depressed for weeks, from the moment I woke up the morning after.

Coming down off a dmt & maoi combo was quite a pleasure actually, the "thank fuck, after all that I'm alive and apparently still sane" euphoria was an essential part of a wildly profound experience.

If you go into something with a pre-determined idea of what will happen, particularly from a negative perspective, your chances of getting that experience are heightened.

'Comedown' was definitely popularised by MDMA. The word was never used for speed and coke after-effects previous to 1989. The only reference I remember 'comedown' being used for with drugs was LSD - and it referred to the wearing-off/back to baseline stage and did not infer some sort of manic depression as has been taken on with its MDMA usage.

Not anything to do with feeling rough for me but....I am a confirmed meat eater. Vegetarianism is something that doesn't interest me. BUT...MDMA is guaranteed to put me off wanting meat for a few days every time. I can easily see how MDMA could turn Evad into a wooly liberal veggie.

same here. i don't drink often so i've only had an hangover twice and was quite surprised that the hangover so many people put themselves through every weekend is in fact quite a bit worse than a stim comedown. drained of energy + empty (almost unpleasantly dissociative like) feeling + headache + GI discomfort is definitely worse than just feeling drained of energy.
 
I've had some proper shocking comedowns off speed, unable to sleep properly for a couple of days and generally feeling like i'm going to throw up all the time. MDMA comes a close second although I did used to cain it years ago so all the blame is on me there.
 
An alcohol hangover is nowhere near as bad as a proper comedown IMO. Sure you feel rough for a day. But with stims I've felt shit for a week after a few days cainage! And I've never had the brain zaps etc from booze. Not to mention depression, anxiety, paranoia....
 
Yeah booze hangovers are a walk in the park, even kind of fun sometimes in a strange sort of way. None of that dreadful emptiness of stims.
 
Booze hangovers are NEVER fun. I feel absolutely fucking shit and often anxious as fuck but at least I know at worst it will last 1 full day where drug comedowns can go on a fair bit longer. My hangovers seem ten times worse nowadays than they ever used to, can't work out whether I just drink a shit load more these days or I canna handle it anymore. Thank fuck for valium.

Strongly disagree lol I'd take the worst stim crash over even a moderate alcohol hangover.

Stims are my friend.
 
from drugs had about 10 bad next day/hangover
from drink had at least 100plus hangovers

i reckon ive had maybe 1 or 2 bad next day/hangover when i just did drugs and not mixed a lot of drink with it.
