Sydney:

2SER 107.3 has its moments, especially late at night and on certain foreign shows.
FBI 94.5 is decent, when they're not playing mass amounts of electro or hip hop.
Triple J 105.7 for all reasons already stated, but I just can't listen to it continuously for some reason.
All that said, the radio station I tune into the most is ABC Classic FM 92.9, though I am mostly tuned into the Richmond frequency of 95.3.

Radio Metro is the best station for dance i've ever heard. Unfortunately only available from about Yatala, south to the Gold Coast and drops out about Tweed. Also available from the lookout at Mt Coot-Tha on a clear night!Listen Online Now!

Radio staions in Canberra are, how to put it ? Shit house...

Triple J isn't perfect. They sometimes play the same song twice in a day but at least there's no annoying ads for Harvey fucking Norman.

I think the frequency is 101.5. RAW fm is another staion in Canberra that plays house/dance music 86.7

Just stay away from Scotty and Nige in the morning.. as one of my friends put it they are about as funny as cancer.
