Best psychedelic for consciousness without context? Assuming need for low dose.

Hi all, I am assuming I would need a low dose to really achieve this but, what's the best psychedelic for increasing consciousness AKA conscious awareness but without much or little content. I guess I am assuming this is possible with low doses of certain psychedelics.

Peace, love, and light.

Some more background. I want to use it to meditate with at low dose. IDK I thought perhaps ketamine, but I have never tried ketamine. Thanks lamanogaucha. Anyone else?

Please note that for me the most important thing in meditation is increasing consciousness, conscious awareness. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thank you Achten.

3-MeO-PCP is the most complementary to Zen meditation of everything I have tried, much more so than ketamine. Also mescaline. They would fit the bill for what you are asking.

Is there a reason why you seek chemical aid for your meditation?

Nothing wrong with training wheels for meditation, as long as you let go of them when the time comes. Just like learning to ride a bike. I do a lot of meditation without psychedelics.

Peace.

Why does mindfulness have to be specific, TAC? I think the whole point of it is to be open, which is rather non-specific.

Conscious awareness of what, specifically?
I, the self, the I am.

I am doing awareness watching awareness meditation. And I have tried quite a few other meditations in the past the last couple of years, but this one is the best. And it cuts straight through the BS. I noticed the difference right away. So that is what I am doing. Please note that this awareness I am talking about is not some special awareness. But just ordinary the awareness of what we call the the conscious self. You know the conscious self. Nothing more nothing less. It cuts all the fat and gets right down to the heart of what we all want in meditation.

There was a book written about it. The reviews for it are good.

I would say MXE for activating seemingly higher/the highest conscious levels and Ayahuasca for opening all levels/chakras.

1 hit of L, would say 1.5 good booms but it sounds like you want as little mass possible. No MDMA, NO RCS Is my suggestion

I don't see the point of being open or mindful if you're just sitting in a quiet room. There is nothing interesting to be see or hear. I can see that it would be very important to be open to the present moment, if you are a guard vigilantly watching and listening for intruders, for example.

Awareness of yourself... well, that's getting more specific. But still, if all you're doing is sitting and trying to become aware of yourself, what's the point of self-awareness? All there is to see is a mind struggling to look at itself. How interesting is that?

The idea is that with practice you increase your consciousness, your awareness and this has many benefits, since it is our core. It's our source.

Thanks velmwend.

Well it's about becoming aware of the non-dualistic self that experiences no difference between mind and body. Generally when we say ourselves we think in physical terms. Like 'my body' or 'my mind' both of which are physical concrete representations, instead the idea is to achieve the understanding 'i am', and believe me that moment is anything but uninteresting. If you think of it as a mind trying to look at itself, you have already defeated the exercise.

I'm curious. The phrase "I am" makes me think of Rene Descartes, who said "I think, therefore I am." In that sense, I'm always aware that I "am" (I exist), whether I meditate or not. But I don't think that's what you mean. Can you elaborate on the "I am" realization, and what exactly it entails?

Meditation is not like school where you treat it as doing work for a result; not everything needs a point, a purpose, or a goal, especially meditation.

Sitting and meditating in a quiet room can bring a stillness of mind that carries into everything else. The way we each view this topic is already more insight into our selves and our awareness.

@astral I know you ask specifically for psychedelics but maybe look into opiates.
