Best places in Aus to live

I seriously want to move to Tassie - my husband and I often talk about this. I just love the place. I mean Melbourne and Sydney are great, and I grew up on the north coast of NSW and that's great but I don't know if I'd move back there. Too many memories ...

Tassie (especially Hobart) just seems a bit European and cosy to me. Maybe I'm putting it up on a pedestal too much I don't know, but I would love to move there one day.

I live in Brisbane. It's ok. I wouldn't recommend it though.

Tasmania, Darwin, areas in queensland where there's not too many people.
I don't like big cities, but if you want drugs that's your place.

The more outback areas are different, much more laidback, by a lot.

Since moving to Australia, I lived in Hobart for 8 1/2 years, then Sydney for 6 1/2, and now Melbourne for the past year. I vote for Hobart.

Melbourne, especially the beautiful bay-side suburb, Frankston:

Too politically incorrect for my first post in social?

^thanks so much for responding man^

I thought I'd just made everyone think I was a sick f*ck. Would be a stretch to say that as grotty as this photo is, it kind of turns me on. lol. The girl closet to camera has a fair gush going on.

Anyway, Melbourne is an awesome place (obviously if you're in to watersports, I'd recommend Frankston), and while the weather can be extreme, I'd have to say that it is much more interesting than the other capital cities.

However, I do also love Tasmania. So Hobart could be a good option (especially if you like to get out in the wilderness and don't mind the cold).

lol, It's actually pretty common to see ladies letting it flow where ever they choose while out and about here in Northbridge. I don't see a problem with it personally. Guys do it all the time so why can't they :\

LOL, I just noticed the thumbs up on the left hahaha :)

Perhaps the guy giving the thumbs up is an equal opportunist like you and I, JoshE? ;)

So basically I am sick of living in Adelaide and I wanna live some where nice, preferably pretty.

But I am open to other suggestions and reasons to go somewhere, nice people, nice atmosphere anything.

If you could live any where in Aus where would it be?

I love living in Hobart.

I spent two years in melbourne, but back now and I really missed it. It's such a laid back lifestyle.

Yikes. I have to say that I have never seen a group of ladies in a public place urinating in groups. Perhaps I need to mix with different people

Never hear anyone talk about the south coast of Nsw. Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama are all nice places to live. Uncrowded beaches good food an hour and a half from Sydney cbd and the same south to awesome quiet coastal towns.

Shhhhhh!

Not that I've been too many places, but being a Melbournian myself, I would highly recommend it.

Yeah the weather can be really unpredictable, but it's a really lovable place. I find that everyone (at least in the inner suburbs, which is where I recommend the most) is friendly, and personally I think that you can find a lot of really beautiful places down here.

Either way, good luck!
