Best legal high

They've only been in power for a few months after 14 years of the blue team having a go so I don't think there's much you can dump on their doorstep just yet. Theresa May is largely to blame for what happened to the RC market in the UK.

Judging by his policy on cigarettes Starmer believes that we need to live in a state of perfect healthiness lest we displease the sacred NHS deity. This fella is not going to legalise MCAT

I do agree that many substances can really enhance these things. After a certain amount of time (and a level of misuse / abuse) I came to the realization that all of those things are quite enjoyable on their own with no external chemical enhancements from things like LSD.

That being said, I do think I will have a few more trips in my lifetime, especially now that I've been sober for a significant amount of time and dealt with some underlying issues I had been trying to mask/hide from (I know silly to do this with psychedelics but it can distract me in a hedonistic kind of way)

I find lsd very hedonistic. It will just wake the addict beast and I’ll have a needle in my arm 3/4 of the way into the trip.

Mushrooms were different and didn’t do this but that’s why I never did them again; wasn’t that recreational.

But lsd has agonist activity at dopamine receptors so it has some mechanistic overlap with hard addictive drugs.

What are the affects like ?
I always enjoyed it and thought it felt a little like vyvanse. Feels like an amphetamine kinda and has similar effects but is overall worse on your body and for your health. Also ruined lavender for me

It’s not silly to try and deal with underlying issues using psychedelics. It’s actually becoming very popular (mdma, ketamine, psilocybin, LSD) to name a few are becoming very popular and are effective seemingly enough

lamotrigine (Lamictal)
I have also had Great(!) results from lamictal ustd recreationally. I can’t remember the dosage but the pills I got (from an acquaintance, not proscribed,) were round, light green, and scored in the middle. They gave me a benzo/alcohol-ish buzz, but didn’t impair my mind or judgement to the extent alcohol and benzodiazepines do. However, they must build up in one’s system, since after repeated uses, the effects last alarmingly long, and become more trouble than they are worth. They can also cause Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. (Which is no joke!!!!)

My
Lamictal (at one time if I remember the Wikipedia article correctly, although it's been edited out since) was considered a narcotic at one time in Japan, and (I think) not prescribed because of it.

Lamictal (when taken in recreational one time doses) for me acts as a major stimulant, but really it does everything for me.

To be honest I'm diagnosed with Bipolar Diorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Social Anxiety Disorder. I also suffer from Fabry Disease, which causes peripheral neuropathy (nerve pain) in my hands and feet.

At the scheduled dosage the drug helps with my anxiety, and nerve pain, which no other drugs have done for me.

At recreational doses the drug takes the something I am when not medicated and turns me into someone.

My social anxiety is obliterated, I'm not a anxiety-ridden shut-in, and I'm capable of being sociable. I normally have little energy, drive, and suffer from avolition (trouble making and settling on decisions). The high gives me energy, drive, "ambition", etc.

The fog and trouble thinking I usually have are gone, and with it the cognitive logjams and trouble in planning and carrying out detailed multi-step tasks. A prime example for me is operating machinery. I'm not great with it but without lamictal

I know the whole "you gotta try this, mannn, it changes everything!!!" trope. But for me it does, and with little to no side effects. Aside from occasional restlessness (and occasionally significant impatience from such) and trouble sitting still, there's almost no side effects.

I know using and condoning it's recreational use risks damaging the image of all those who take it (especially those taking it as ordered and responsibly so), much as those abusing opiates can cause issues for those taking them strictly (to great benefit) on a medicinal basis. But man, after what it's done for me, I wish there was a way I could introduce it to the people closest to me in life. Hell, I wish I could find a way to bring it to as many others as possible.

And that does include my worst enemies, because at the end of the day the anxiety, cognitive issues, and nerve pain I suffer from are pure hell and I wouldn't wish it on any of them. I would wish there's could get better, too.
experience with Lamictal is really limited but I had similar effects from it used recreationally. I got scared away from it when I either took too much or it built up in my body and I experienced a prolonged effect. I’d like to try experimenting with Lamictal again, under the right circumstances.

As far as the USA goes, my list would be: DXM, propylhexedrine, DMAA (dimethylamylamine), floribut, phenibut, 7-OH-mitragynine, mitragynine, kratom, Blue/Pink/Red lotus, noopept, agmatime, memantine sometimes (some places require a scrip, some don't), Calea ternifolia aka Calea zacatechichic as an oneirogen is fascinating, Brewing an ounce of catnip into tea makes 1-2 glasses of a mildly sedative yet stimulating tea which is interesting, there's also yohimbine, ephedrine which can be extracted from Ephedra sinica, or ideally just drink the Ephedra sinica as tea (best RoA imo), kavalactones and kava itself, maybe varieties of Banisteriopsis caapi, Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds, Morning glory seeds (be VERY careful that they haven't been chemicall treated though), sinicuichi, klip and alpine dagga, kanna, and wild lettuce. DXM alongside a low dose of DPH is also quite nice.

I'd just like to comment here, my fiance took this for a long time and realized that the some people experience ocular degradation from it (not all people), but he was so he tapered off of it and has been fine since. He was on it for mood stabilization moreso than energizing effects like you're describing, it had a kind of "ditzy-ifying" effect if that makes sense, but his dosage was also pretty high relative to his bodyweight. I've personally tried lamotrigine a handful of times and, much like aripirazole, it surely does something, but telling what that something is seems very difficult for me to put my finger on.

I'm going to say I don't think that that was lamictal because I just don't see that drug giving you a buzz like that I mean I could be wrong but did you look up the pills before you took them? Just curious!

I can personally vouch that there's a psychoactivity to lamictal, not as intense as GHB or xanax or anything, more like uh, how do I put this, as 1 gram of standard psilocybin mushrooms would compare to blasting through on 100mg of purified N,N-DMT while also on ayahuasca, lamictal is to something like soma.

I know it sounds bonkers and bullshit (and I'm not the one you're responding to), but lamictal highs actually help blast me into a place where my social anxiety, cognitive issues, peripheral neuropathy (from fabry disease), and depression totally disappear for the duration of the high. I can prove that I've been diagnosed with depressive disorder, social anxiety disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. I've tried to commit suicide multiple times (I can prove this too). It's subjective, unscientific, etc. but I'm desperate for people to try a few times to see whether recreational doses (250+ milligrams) can help them to see results like I have.

I wish more people could experiment with the high. One problem is I haven't taken it regularly to see if the medical dosage has the same effects. And the effects only last as long as the high.

If you get the chance, please, please, please try and use recreationaly (even just one time) and ask other people if they will too. As soon as possible I'm going to ask others to. I know that it's a crime for people to use other people's medication. I understand the concerns but I'm desperate to try and find out if others can get what I got from it.

As with any other drug/medication, extreme caution should be taken. Research into side effects, risks, etc. should be taken.

Nothing else was taken during these experiments, not so much as 50mg tylenol, vitamin supplements, or caffeine.

I actually have been diagnosed with Bipolar 2 disorder. I can't be for sure but: I've never experienced anything like a manic episode (nor told so by closely monitoring medical professionals). The only thing I can think of is my uses of lamictal.

I would advise people to take a small test dose first around others, as a non-zero (though still quite low) percentage of people get Steven-Johnson('s?) Syndrome from this iirc. I have used it as 110mg orally, 220mg orally, and ~25mg that I rubbed into my gums, and honestly the order of potency went: 25mg gummed > 220mg orally > 110mg orally. I makes me wonder how RoA differences affect this drug.

I’d love to try it again, but not until I found some good experience/guidance. I think it has the potential for being a good reacreational substance, but more research is needed. (Folks, take that as a challenge????)

I’ve always thought Lamotrigine has serious potential for psychonaught uses. However I would rather wait till more knowledgeable psychonauts report back on the matter.

Yes. It was probably 2009 or 2010, since I was still in High School. I didn’t have a smart phone then but I looked it up on my “drug buddy‘s” phone. I know it was “Lamotrigine” whether it was brand name Lamictal or not. I used to call them “drunk pills”. They were pale green, and scored down the middle.
