Jabberwocky
Frumious Bandersnatch
for those without opioids or benzos, my hangover cure/prevention:
- Take NAC (N-acetyl cysteine), multivitamin and eat complex carbs + fatty food two hours before drinking (Only take NAC before not during or after)
- Drink tons of water throughout the night (important)
- Eat something before passing out
- In the morning take aspirin or ibuprofen + coffee (this can lead to ulcers, be careful, but if you ate decent amount of food you should be OK)
- Drink a smoothie (including at least a banana and blueberries)
- Take B vitamin complex, taurine, l-theanine
- Do some light exercise, anything to get your heart rate up and make you sweat. I prefer jogging 2-3 miles. This forces blood into your brain, boosts metabolism, etc, helps a lot. Don't overdo it.
- Take shower
congrats your hangover should be gone or minimal, of course this only works up to a point... I mean, if you're like me and drink 20 beers to the face, it helps a lot but you'll still feel a bit crappy all day with that amount of alcohol
also, the amount of people recommending acetaminophen in this thread is concerning
