Best drug to numb emotion?

Not sure if this is a "what drug should I take" thread, but I'll give my opinion anyway.
I'd say it's benzos. Nothing makes you stop caring about anything like a benzo. It doesn't necessarily make you happy, won't necessarily make you sad. Just stops your thinking. I've almost had a depression-induced panic attack while high and took a benzo. It literally manifested as a vision of a white horse galloping through my mind, clearing the negative thoughts and feelings of ultimate doom out. I went to sleep feeling a bit shaken, but not stirred.

Yeah for me a good dose of ketamine would allow me to watch my family get brutally murdered and i would have just had wide eyes with no expression.

On benzos in that scenario i would watch them all die, and after 15 minutes I would be like.. "dad? oh... i forgot.. .sorry"

Opioids. Benzo's are far behind when it comes to numbing emotions.

We are a harm reduction forum for specific questions about drugs, we don't do what should I take or what drug is best type threads. It's a horrible idea to try to numb your emotions with drugs, it leads straight to addiction. I urge you to try therapy, supplements, meditation, self-help, art, ANYTHING besides opioids. Non-drug methods may not be a quick fix like taking an opioid or a benzo, but in the long run using drugs to numb your emotions ends up making things far worse than they already are. Trust me, I know from personal experience, and I absolutely would have chosen a different path if I could do things over.

Please PM me if you have any questions.
