tokey said:Centrum are notorious for not being bioavaliable and thus worthless. I use GNC megamen vitamins because they are the shit. You feel flustered and dizzy for a few minutes and then you feel 'high' for hours.

I have been taking a multivitamin complex for almost 3 years now ever since my second trip to rehab for alcoholism and narcotic abuse but in streaks. At times I went off my schedule but never lapsed for more than a couple months. I have been taking a multivitamin complex daily now for about 12 months. For about 3 of those months I decided to use GNC MegaMan Complex but had to discontinue due to money issues and had to go back on to the cheap generic multivitamin complex. Yes, the GNC MegaMan Complex worked great, there are many other minerals and healthy herbals that the majority of multivitamin complex do not...

'feel high for hours'? I have never achieved a 'high' from vitamins. These complex are supplements, they are not intended for recreational purposes and if they were, there would be no potential. Yes, after being on this particular complex for a few months does make you feel more energized and healthy but that is its only purpose. Maybe this enhancement is what you may be referring to?
Pressed Pill Vitamins have a 10-20% absorbtion rate due to all the the filler material needed to press and hold the pill together. Liquid Vitmains have a 80-90% absorbtion rate.
PLEASE post a source because I'm planning on doing some healthy shopping in a couple days after I get my nice sized paycheck (Store Manager Big Lots). If you have this information and it is true than you must have got it from some source. If this is just something that you heard than admit it. I'm reluctant to believe this but yet intrigued if this is true.
Does anybody else have some brand name multivitamin complex that may be more effective than the active ingredients in the MegaMan complex? Money isn't a problem.
