best antidepressant for MDMA induced depression

Mirtazapine is one of the VERY few anti-depressants I would prescribe in concert with tramadol (due to its unique pharmacology, strong 5-HT antagonism). Antagonism of 5-HT3a is partially why it is a great anti-emetic/appetite stimulant. Its not the best anti-depressant, but in terms of toxicity, it is very favorable.......
This post makes no sense, it will only be helpfull for those that respond to sero antagonism, just as many respond better to agonism.

true but trazodone is a very weak SSRI

a typical dose for depression is around 400mg, while its rarely prescribed over 100

Yep. Even in 400mg to the maximum 600mg doses I read it's still not as much of a SERT inhibitor as other SSRIs,(up from being almost totally negligible in 100mg doses) but that it's antagonist action at 5-HT2a and 5-HT2c plus it's relatively weak SERT binding explain it's antidepressant properties.

is MDMA induced depression actually a real thing?

We cant say for certain but it appears poly drug use is at fault, study's controlling for mdma use only didnt find an increase in depressive symptions but the study's are limited, we need more data.

In my experience the best Antidepressants for a MDMA comedown are prozac 40 ml or mirtazepine zispin, 15ml

having discovered that one drug destroyed your serotonin system, why would you take another one that does the same thing? (SSRI or SNRI)
