How do you surmise such things from such an incoherent verbal communicator who relies on soundbyte slogans, and has a very tenuous grasp (to put it mildly) on the complexity of international politics?
He's proven repeatedly to have little - if any - integrity, and lies without shame.
I think Clinton is appalling too - but i just wonder how you can paint such a rosy picture out of such a frighteningly inept candidate?
What makes you think a greedy celebrity attention seeker is going to have any competence in the extremely complicated field of international politics?
I'm not asking this as a put-down; i'm just curious as to how you've made that leap.
My suspicion - having discussed it with some people in the US foreign service i'm rather well acquainted with - is that President Trump (should he ever achieve that title) would be so out of his depth, that he would be completely reliant on his advisors, backers and GOP powerbrokers (in even the most simple elements of the job) considering that he has no experience whatsoever in any public service type of role.
...which would make him one of the most easily manipulated Presidential puppets the USA has ever seen. At least, that's what i've been hearing.
Maybe i missed the Trump speech where he articulated a mature, rational vision for US foeign policy that didn't simply involve jingoistic sloganeering and populist
demagoguery?
