Bernie Sanders

I get tired of correcting people on this, Bernie always said he was going to support her if he lost. Why did you think he would go back on his word? He's an old school hippie who's seen the damage the Republican party has done to this country. I'm not saying I agree with what he did but he's not a coward he has principals and his own view point.

Yeah I switched my party affiliation to none and it feels good. Fuck the two party system.
Bernie's message has been consistent from the very beginning of his campaign, and chief among them has been to keep racist, bigoted, xenophobic Trump out of the WH. Bernie has had a consistent message dating as far back as April 2015. As far as I've been able to determine, he can speak his mind since he's not beholden to the typical big money ppl. He's the only candidate who struck me as focused on the issues, without lowering himself to the antics of Clinton and Trump. He's literally the most on message candidate, especially since he's incorruptible. This great and honest man could have won the nomination hands down, if not for Hillary blocking him at every turn. Hence, I am #StillBernin. But since he's said from the start we can't afford Trump in the WH., Berners are rallying behind uim! Our Revolution lives! Feeling the Bern!

Dude, there's nothing revolutionary about electing Clinton. Getting behind her shows Sanders was full of shit about Wall Street.

Clinton is the wall street candidate. The entire establishment is united behind her for the continued concentration of wealth and strip mining of western civilization. There's a reason corporate media is 24 hour bash trump (2 minute) hate tests

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." - John F. Kennedy

Seems like most of bernies supporters are hipsters who want free stuff

it's not simply about "free stuff", it is about social and economical equality. do you conservatives actually believe the fairytale of "anybody who works hard enough can make it"? sure, in some cases it's true, but for most people, the class their family is in will determine, if they will get proper education, a decent paying job, et cetera. I live in a country where we have single payer health care and free tuition for most students, among other socialist policies, and it works well and hasn't destroyed our economy ;). do you think America isn't "good enough" to achieve the same goal? ;P

capitalism didn't get created in a bubble where everbody was equal and then the more capable people got rewarded. the people who were rich beforehand always had a head start, because, well, they have had the money. if you deny that, you just see things through rose coloured glasses.

I'm glad someone actually knows how this world is structured.

In response to Ryan 01:
1. Bernie supporters don't want "free stuff." Rather, a significant portion of his supporters will be saddled with student debt for years, despite getting a college degree, and in some cases an advanced degree. I happen to agree that education and health care are basic human rights.
2. Bernie is not, nor has he ever been, beholden to big banks or big money of any kind. Hence his numerous donations of $27. He actually has the interests of the average American first and foremost.
3. Just by endorsing Hillary, that in no way indicates that they see eye to eye on every issue. But what has he said for the past year and a half? That his MAIN GOAL is to keep unhinged, unstable Trump out of the WH. His message hasn't chanel at ALL.
It was a pleasure to see him campaigning with Zephyr Teachout in New Paltz last month! This is a man who can't be bought or corrupted, which is one of the many reasons I'm #StillBernin!
Sidenote: I'm not a millenial, I pay taxes, and I'm still paying off college debt. Just sayin'....

I respect Bernie for being consistent for so many years. But his policies just wouldn't work in America.
I feel like running as a far left candidate might be the easiest thing to do in modern times. The amount of useful idiots at your disposal, as a far left candidate, is clear after the sanders run. I suppose activating the youth vote has been done for some time, but not to his success.
Personally I liked Bernie, but he had some terrible Ideas that just wouldn't work in this country.

It works in countries like Denmark, Sweden, and Germany because those countries are homogeneous (for now anyways ;))

I'll just pick one; 'free' college. As a taxpayer this is not something I support. I could go with direct job training programs, but I'm not paying for some cupcake to go get a degree in 15th century women's studies. Common sense must prevail here IMO
this is your preference. I've asked you about why "it would not be possible in America".

or do you suggest that America is simply not as "good" as all the other western nation which can afford affordable education and healthcare? :P

I agree completely with what you said. Bernie gave it a good go fought the honest fight and lost. No shame on him. If he had won the nomination and was in for the last run in and had ultimately succeeded I think he would have being a decent president. Bernie on issues such as foreign policy and that was to my understanding a bit hawkish and still of the old guard in reagrds to the Israeli lobby position in america but hey no1s perfect.

The money is out here, dont get it twisted. no its not free but, they take 24% out of my check idk about u but I could use that extra money if its not doing what its suppose to far as social services go. u have fortune 100 companies holding back enough in taxes overseas it could rebuild every bridge that needed to be fixed in the nation while providing jobs. The money exists, its the distribution that is wrong. u have people where one person is as rich as 100 million poor persons think about this. All that work hard and youll succeed is not always true, the cycles of poverty are very evident when ur living in it. Some of the hardest workers are the lowest paid, minimum wage is a joke in many cities including chicago which has some of the highest taxes in the country.
