I'm 21 and I’ve been diagnosed with insomnia and severe anxiety by a physiatrist. I did a few sessions with a psychologist but it didn't really get anywhere and I moved cities after my 3rd session. I've been to numerous GP's and I've explained my situation and they've prescribed me stillnox, temazepan (one off scripts) or anti-depressants (which I never took because I take MDMA occasionally and other personal reasons). Anyway it was nothing long term which obviously hasn't fixed the problem. Since then I've given up and started self-medicating on Clonanzapam which is like a wonder-drug for me. Helps with sleep and anxiety, of course I'd rather get legitimate script for it or something similar as I know it’s more of an epileptic drug in Aus rather than anxiety. If I told my new GP all of this (I've now moved to a new area) would he prescribe me something long term or send me to a psychologist.
