Benzo's counteract tramadol seizures?

I take 400mgs at night, I am actually prescribed 600mg every night, but I am out right now except for 150mg, until I get paid on Friday, I am prescribed the 300mg pills twice at bedtime, and 400 mg tram daily, and the xanax is XR

i don't think its really dangerous to combine seroquel with recreational drugs, i just said its a waste as you will just pass out when the seroquel kicks in. if its what you take to go to sleep at night, i don't think its a problem, it just would ruin the high if you took it earlier on in the experience.

i don't think seroquel has withdrawals, but i have never taken it for an extended period of time, so i don't really know. for referance, a mere 50mg of seroquel is quite sedating for me.

cazier: between seroquel ant amitryptaline for sleep; i would go for the seroquel. amitryptamine is a serertonin reuptake inhibitor, as is tramadol. too many SRI drugs can cause seretonin syndrome which is very unpleasant, and sometimes fatal. proceed with caution!
 
i also have access to buspar, and flexaril, perhaps one of these will do better. So, seeing as how I am out of seroquel, would you recommend unisom, or buspar, flexaril, or all three, as you can see Im quite the apprentice in these matters, very much new to the game,and I really appreciate your hep. So, after the tram adn when I want to go to bed, unisom, flexaril, buspar, or all, what do you think?
 
i would say unisom (diphenhydramine) is your best bet of those meds.

flexeril (cyclobenzeprine) is essentially the same drug as amitryptaline. while probably not too dangerous, the risk of seretonin syndrome doesn't seem worth it, and i find diphenhydramine just as sedating as cyclonbenzeprine

skip the buspar. i have never taken it, but everything ive heard about it is negative and it seems to cause very strong side effects.

50-100mg of diphenhydramine is pretty sedating, though you do build tolerance to this. if you've been taking a lot of that diph syrup lately, the flexeril may be more useful. i find 15-20mg cyclobenzedrine a good dose to goto sleep.

I really need to sleep and tram gets me so up!! I think unisom is the same as the diphedryl, if Im not mistaken. Anyone? Sorry to keep bringing it up, but you guys are like super-opes, and I dont know diddly about them
 
Yes - I think you'll be fine taking both flexaril and unisom when you're ready to sleep.
Or just take two unisom - but not more, otherwise you risk being super-groggy when you wake up.

Does anyone know if Lyrica will reduce the risk of seizures while taking tramadol. i want to take a lil more than 400mg
