benzodiazepine discussion thread

burn_out, I hope you are not addicted to benzos, but it sounds like your curiosity alone is something to be concerned about. Dont get me wrong i love benzos, but i basically know what they do from experience and dont need to ask this many questions. If you have acess to alprazolam and diazepam, you should know what to expect. Maybe you should look into getting an MRI or something
 
i dont think im addicted cause i try to take 10 days breaks and i never feel any withdawal symptoms and i have no problem getting to sleep without them. i could definitely see myself becomming addicted but luckily i dicussed this with my doctor and so he only gives 30 xanax a month, so even if i try to abuse them ill run out way before the month is over. my source for them on the street died so i cant get them anywhere else now.

he died on jan. 4th. i miss him a lot and not because he could get me drugs, he was also my best friend. in addition, he was a huge benzo head (30-40 mg of klonopin a day) so you can imagine how much we talked about benzos.

that would be a good idea then we can have subsections for soma, and one section for dealing with marijauna withdrawel and one section for what should i take tonight soma, benzos,booze,opiates?????


maybe there should just be a whole website to keep all these threads 8)

no, because that would imply other people couldn't ask questions which isn't the idea behind the thread. the idea behind the thread was to collect all my benzo questions in one spot so people like you wouldnt be bothered by multiple threads which begs the question why are you posting in this one?

anyway can someone tell me what they consider a high benzo tolerance? also ive noticed sublingual xanax doesn't work well, i had 1 mg under my tongue for 40 minutes and it still wasnt dissolved.

what would an MRI do? and the reason i ask so many questions is because i probably have a mild case of OCD, where i often will consider one topic from 1,000 different angles.

I'd say a high benzo tolerance would be needing more than ~4mg alprazolam at once for decent effects.

The reason your Xanax didn't dissolve was because of that particular pill; this isn't true for most of them (I've had a few before too, though).
 
the pills i have now are pink xanax footballs.

also i think i should mention its a good thing i only get a limited amount per month because i could see these things being highly addictive if i had access to more. if anyone out there is using benzos and afraid of getting addicted, i recommend you stop getting them off the street/internet and get them through a legitimate doctor. that way you can have him control how many you get for you.
 
Ive taken 70 mgs at once and followed that up with 50 more later (stupid I know).... I remember saying I wasnt high but somehow I cant remember half of the night ;)

It is. Benzo/Alcohol addiction are the worst.

they get you mentally, physically.. and can cause seziures and death if not stopped slowly and properly.

Also, unlike opiates... benzo tolerance takes a LONG time to go back down.

I'm talking months once you get addicted (i've read reports of people never getting back to baseline).

I love those pills to death but I'm telling you, it is a horrible addiction.

If you want to be safe, use once every couple of months.

Be careful.
 
my top out so for was 40mg and i felt nothing, just fell asleep about a hour later?

60 mg and i wrote a paper while i was under the influence. when i got the paper back i had no memory of what i had written it about. the reason i took so much was because i took 40 mg right after eating a large meal it didnt seem to be hitting me (probably because i had just eaten a large meal) so like a moron i decided to take another 20 mg and it took me 2 days before the affects fully wore off. i havent taken valium since.
 
oh man back in the day i was getting 10 gs of diazepam powder in a shot. I wish i could hoestly tell you how much my highest dose was. all i know is i forgot a whole month and made $500 during that month (should have made more, but i like to indulge)
 
ok i have a couple more questions, i took 2 mg of xanax per day for 4 days, then took one day off then took it for 3 days and then took a day off yesterday and today. should i take 5 mg of valium today to taper or is not necessary? i dont really feel like i am having any withdrawal but then again its hard to tell because i am sick from hydrocodone i took yesterday.
