probably 2-3 hours or so, but its hard for me to say. I always either take it in combination with opiates, and thus don't really notice it, or pass out after taking it. Its not my favorite benzo, and I usually overdo it.
 
Burn out, thankyou for opening the final benzo thread, I am sick of the endless new threads, and this is a welcome fix.

Well it's really not that good of an idea because people aren't as likely to check the "benzodiazepine discussion thread" as they would be to just answer the question if it was in the title of the thread... Maybe this works for burn out and his multitude of questions, but I don't see it being a fix for anyone in the future looking for help. I don't see what really needs to be fixed...?

Heh, no chance of being stickied. I am just sick of the clutter. If you havn't done so yet, you should do a quick search on burn out's created threads. There are probobly 20-25 benzo related questions within a couple of months.

You can literally watch the genesis, escallation, and peak of his addiction, and anticipate his eventual downfall.

Don't get me wrong, I tried to harm reduce and tell this kid what he is getting himself into, but he didn't listen. Its just one of those things you have to learn on your own, particularly after it has gotten to this point. Its time to lay off the drugs and follow your doctor's suggestions/orders. Period.

I don't think he's addicted to benzos, I just think he got really fucked up on them a bunch of times and posted a lot while he was in the clouds... :)
I think it's pretty funny, but almost everyone else on this forum seems to get very angry about it.
I think the best benzo for social anxiety is clonazepam because it lasts so long and doesn't seem to be such a slam-down, knock-you-out drug like xanax, and I've found the amnesia isn't so total as it is with xanax.
But maybe that's just because I don't regularly take any other type of benzo... I'm a bit biased...

I am prescribed clonazepam but i dont like it very much, however last night 2mg really worked like a charm putting me and keeping me asleep. I'm thinking about talking to my doctor about clobozam it is supposed to work very well with social anxiety and IS NOT SEDATING! which is my biggest problem with clonazepam
 
Im on 3mg xanax XR once daily and it works superbly for social anxiety. and 3 or 4 of them can make for a very recreational time(not recommended for users with low tolerance.)
 
i have a question. are there any long term users on here who can actualy still occasionaly get a high off their dose? ive been on clonazepam, xanax, valium, dalmane, etc over the past five years...pas 2 years ive maintainted at 2-4 mg kpin a day. but, no matter even if i taper waiy down and then go a day wihtout, and pop 10, i still cant catch that high. i think its worthless, those no point chasing this shit. discouraging, becasue people are always talking abotu how much they love klonopins. wait till you get addicted to them. then you will love/HATE them.

I know what you mean. Benzos became useless to me after just a few months.

UNLESS I drank on them.

I simply used benzos to potentiate my beer, and didn't have to drink as much.

Still fun as shit though.
 
lol. yep you completely orget why you are even taking them until you try to stop. then your in hell and all you want is more benzos. that dont make you FEEL anything whatssoever. damnit i would kill for that euphoria i used to get off them. even one kpin with NO tolerance, it was like the downer version of MDMA. i just loved everything!

yeah.. it got to a point I could eat 20mg of Xanax and not feel anything.

Benzos are just a potentiator for me..

And good to pop a few before a hot date.
 
true dat. i got so bad i couldnt go on a date without popping an extra handful luckily enough, im now with the sweetest sexiest chick i could possibly imageine, and i dont even need benzos to be chill with her. know what you mean though. 20 mg xanax feels the same as 6 to me. waste of good pills!!
 
how bout midazolam.......you think that may have the ability to get a person with such tolerance at least a little bit high?

how much tolerance? i think 10mg of diazepam = .5mg of klonopin, so i'd say maybe 20-40mg of diazepam with no tolerance
 
^When I first started using benzos, 10-15mg was a good starting dose of diazepam.
