Benzo Discussion

All you can do is try it, it might be right for you it might not. I hate going out on benzos personally, just makes me want to sit about not talking to anyone wanting to go home and listen to ambient music.
 
Been drinking a lot recently, (lots of birthday/student nights out ect) so have had regular hangovers over the last few weeks.

Been using 10-30mg diazepam throughout my hungover days (maybe 4 or 5 days in the last few weeks). Haven't got any reason to take any more, and won't be going out for the forseeable future, thus no hangovers. Just wanted to check I'm not going to have any problems if I don't take anymore?

I know withdrawal consequences can develop quickly with benzos, and although it hasn't been daily use, I'm aware of the long half life, so just wanted to double check that I'm just being over-worried?

No you wont have any withdrawal issues, thats really not a lot. Maybe using 30/40 mg's daily for 3/4 weeks you would start to feel mild withdrawals and you would find your tolerance raise a bit.

Looks like these are going to be useful little tools to add to my chemical collection :)

Yeah they are handy but watch with dosing/regularity of taking them. If you take them to much tolerance raises and can be a bitch to get down, its also a very shit drug to go through addiction and withdrawal.

Your last two responses sort of contradict each other.....? Or when you say "watch the dosing/regularity" do you mean make sure its not the extent of 30 a day?

Somebody once mentioned in some thread something a long the lines of, "if you keep your doses 2-3 days apart if possible, and never exceed XXXmg per week/month" you'll be able to quite easily use diaz without ever having any problems". Can't find who said it, or where, but does it sound about right? And if so what's the XXX value? 100mg a month? Obviously the above rules would have to involve strict obedience.
 
I did 10-20mgs daily for about 2 weeks and never noticed any WD's or tollerance really.

I think even over a month you'd be cool at 10-20mgs daily. No real need though.
 
Yea, I've taken around 20-50mg a day for a week or so (usually less due to taking 50mg sometimes lol) but I've usually been fine.
If I have any problems I usually get a script for Temazepam and, due to being short acting, I'm usually fine after that. Except not being able to sleep but that's normal.
 
I have been doing 10-20mgs once or twice a week for the last 8 months or so with no problems at all, had a few weeks break recently and I got no w/d or anything.

As I say, its mainly going to be for practical reasons rather than recreation. Although having a fair few the other day as a hangover cure made me have such a lovely day! I can now see why some people might use as recreational .

They're not scripted or anything, I've never seen a doc over any sort of anxiety/depression issues, and have never really thought I had any. But does the fact that I feel 'nice' after a few valium mean I must have 'some' under-lying anxiety?
 
Doctor's are alot more responsible with benzo's know .
When i was 20 u could just ask 4 what u wanted FFS. In a way i blame their scripting on my 14 year addiction 2 them.

That would be me. Although, that's just my experience. :)
 
Please don't do as it's fucking 'tarded what I did but here's a story for you lads and ladies!

Saturday night I got a Tesco delivery, came with a 12-crate of beer, McEwans Export iirc. I had 10 diaz left, these were top notch vallies too! I was intending to have one or two and maybe half the crate and have a nice early bed. That wasn't what happened.
I had all 10 of the diaz and the entire crate and then went on OkCupid (a dating website) and sent messages to people. Not surprisingly I got no replies! But.. later on someone messaged me out of the blue at about 3am, so I replied in a COMPLETE MESS, none of my messages made ANY sense whatsoever! I have no idea why she continued to talk to me.

Anyway I gave her my phone number and we organised a date and yesterday /today had a great night of beer 'n' fuckin'!

After trying a couple of new benzo's lately - Temazepam & Alpazolam (30mg jellies & 1mg Parke Davis Purple Footballs) I have decided Diazepam is still my favorite & the all round most useful. Temaz is very recreational with a few drinks and a little smoke though, had fun on one with some port & a spliff, dreamy :D

Xanax I found was good with PV & very good with mephedrone, takes the edge off but maintains the euphoria & up better than Diaz.

All round though Diaz can be useful in so many situations. Xanax I feel is only for with/after stims. Temaz recreationally is good with a few drinks & a smoke defo. KO by 11pm, lol =D

On a break from diaz at the moment. I want it to remain the miracle drug it has served me as.
