10mg is an average dose, 5mg is enough to knock me to sleep but I don't have a big tolerance. That being said, nitrazepam is a strong hypnotic benzo.
 
Does benzo tolerance go back to normal after a long break? I am starting to develop a slight tolerance to diazepam and dont want to push it any higher. If i keep off it for a month or two will it be back to the way it was?
 
^ If you don't have a huge tolerance to begin with, yes the effects will be fully back after a month.
 
been on the benzos a lot recently since finding a source for 2mg xanax and 30mg temazepam right round the corner! they are rather lovely just need to keep it occasional, not had any today but swear i still feel a bit from the temaz yesterday
 
Never had any benzo's before. Just got hold of some roche 10s. I've been trying to find some primarily for coming down off mdma. I always struggle to sleep and sometimes get a little anxiety afterwards. So valium sounds like it might do the trick.

Won't need them for this reason for a few weeks, however in the meantime I'd like to test them to firstly check they are legitimate and not duds (I didn't get them via a doc, and I presume these things are faked?) and secondly just to get an idea of the effects and what I can expect.

Would just taking one at the end of the day let me discern whether they are legit, and get a nice feel for the effects? Also would I still be able to get on with other things, ie socialise with the family, on 10mg?
 
To be fair, 5mg should be enough for you to feel it, with no tolerance. 10mg will probably leave you pretty sedated, but still able to socialise, etc.
 
I find benzos really helpful for telling all your mates to fuck off haha. They make me speak my mind much easier.
 
Maybe a pint and three. I don't know really. I know that you will feel 5mg, as long as the tablets are actually what they say on the tin.
 
I find it easier to say akward things after benzos as well and thE more I take mixed with booze it can be dangerous as my tongue loosens and may cause offense..Its as if I have been on the Tony Montana...." Hmmm, took 5mg 25 mins ago, and theres been nothing noticeable. Was having a bath, so I suppose I'm pretty relaxed anyway.

Just had the other half. So we'll see. Hope I haven't be naively ripped off.
 
Actually just got up from being sat down. Felt a little 'spacey'. Which I suppose feels quite nice...

EDIT: An hour since I took the 2nd half of the 10mg now. Noticeable effects of feeling pretty chilled/very mildly sedated. No urge to sleep, or no real pleasurable feelings either.

Its hard trying to see how this would help my anxiety/almost panic attacks I frequently get on a MD comedown, considering I was feeling pretty fine before taking any tonight.

Anyway, just taken another 10mg. Gonna watch a film and try and forget about and analysing my state of mind. See what happens.

Still no change, apart from being very sleepy and having pretty aggressive hiccups!



I know the Spade has mentioned numerous times how he finds valium a wonder drug for certain funtions, albeit with no recreational value. Perhaps that's the case with me. I'll have to try it again when I am actually experiencing anxiety/mild panic attacks/or a pretty bad hangover.

I'm gonna hit the sack now anyway, barring these hiccups keeping me awake.
 
Bet you sleep like a log. You should find them very useful for anxiety. I don't find them recreational, either.

Pretty much. Just got up :)

I didn't really get any 'euphoric' recreation out of it. If anything it just made me feel incredibly chilled. Almost like I'd had a couple of nice bottles of Old Tom.

Like I say though, I rarely get much anxiety. And If I do its sort of panic attack/'triggered by something' kind of thing. Nothing severe though. So I suppose I can't really comment on its usefulness until I use it in such a situation.
 
Benzos and booze gives more euphoria, but watch out for having your inhibitions stripped from you. Benzos like Xanax give better euphoria, IMO. I wouldn't even call it euphoria, though. Like you said, it's just more of a really relaxed feeling. Goes well with weed, especially if you're prone to anxiety when smoking.
