Benzo Discussion Vol. 3 (I think? Last night's a blur..)

I think I've had RLS on and off for years although I have shortened ligaments in my knee joint particularly on the right so it may be more of a physical thing but the described sensation of RLS fits very well. Diaz definitely removes the symptoms but then its muscle relaxing properties probably explain that one.

@Monsta, until I actually went and got it sorted I didn't fully accept I even had a drink problem to th extent that I had, It was making me physically quite ill and I didn't really realise until I stopped, I was drinking an anywhere between 15-20 units a day but only ever drank in the evening. I feel much better for having stopped, now I just don't drink at all, I still have a problem left with the benzos but I'm tapering down bit by bit, in many ways I've replace the booze with them in truth. Although I was doing them both together for quite a bit as well before I stopped the booze.
I'd really recommend going to an addiction center, ( I guess I'm teaching you to suck eggs, but I'm just sharing my experience for the benefit of others ) they help me so much in getting me in a place where I accepted I needed to stop and helped me do so, I was referred via my GP but I can't speak highly enough about the service i got.

Just got some eitozolam to try, thought it would be at least in blisters, sketchy as fuck coming loose in a baggie lol. Had to get the expensive ones as thats the only ones I could see that was uk to uk post.

Been on etiz for a while since i've got no other benzos, i think the person who said they're less effective than others to long term benzo users was spot on, though it def does the trick :)

And someone mentioned about paradoxical(sp?) effects from benzos after using them for a long time, this happened to me halfwy through last year, i dunno what changed (maybe my opi habits) but i was going out of my mind for a while from lack of sleep, strips of diaz nitraz clonaz and temaz doing nothing to help me kip, was going 2-3 days at a time without sleep and that was with no other drugs cept my usual benzos. Cut my use down to 30-50mg diaz a day though and it eventually passed after a few rough weeks

Strangely I find diazepam to make me really motivated want to get shit done and stop wasting time/life, do essays, make music and go out and get new clothes haircut look smart etc. But they stll chill me out, help me sleep and I don't get any paradoxical symptoms, this normal?

I have ridiculously low tolerance and normally only take 5-15mg occasionally as I start get really bad memory blanks around 20 or above. Had a terrible experience with 20mg phenaz once, blackouts are something I REALLY avoid now due to the shit that can go down during them.

you got some decent stuff their don't waste em by putting boozen tro the mix .

You'll get a much nicer buzz without it trust me.

Thanks, but what I was really looking for, and the reason I made this thread, was advice on how the amount of oxycodone and how many, if any, benzos I should take with it NOW- not whether it was a good time to mix it with alcohol the previous time.

yeah the expensive ones arent medical grade ones, theyre the ones pressed shitily by/for rc sites. Stupid really. The cheap ones are nicely pressed, pharm grade and come in proper packaging.

i was just sayin not to mix it with booze this time as thats the most dangerous of all 3 of the drugs .

what did u say yer tolerance was ?

Yeah, to be honest the last time I was hittin' the bottle when I randomly stumbled upon a friend with OCs.

Tolerance... I currently have decent benzo tolerance, I'll take 4-6mg clonazepam and still remember just about everything and be coherent & functional, without friends reporting weird behavior.
As for opioids, no recent tolerance whatsoever, but reasonably high natural tolerance - previously, with zero tolerance, I've found 300-360mg codeine and 300-400mg tramadol enjoyable, decent recreational doses.

Hypothetically, what would be the most frequently one could take Etizolam (1 or 2mg as a sleep aid) without developing a tolerance / causing any problems?

Lormetazepam has jumped to my #4 favourite benzo. Very pleasant, even slightly euphoric, sedative and overall pleasant. Not too amnesia-inducing and doesn't last overly long.

hope you enjoyed them oxy's the other night mate, one of my old fav's ;) not a benzo mind, i love my temazapam tho, that with a touch of oxy and ahhhh pure nodding out bliss :D

im thinking mixing them isnt a good idea but ive done it many's a time, pushed my limits and am still standing but its definately not advised, i was very very fucked at them points, some scary moments too that have made me value life more than once, so just be careful if your thinking of mixing :)

tried moggies for the first time tonight, they are bloody AMAZING!

had 6 valies, and 3 temazis, then have 10MG on top..... ah the moggies on top a bloody brrriiant...... AHH <3

chilled too fuckkk :)

yeah they are well under rated .
Although i found that when i had some Bayer branded ones that i got in Spain they were stronger than generic English ones weird cos they were both from the chemist not internet shite.

As for ypour tolerance n stuff i'm not the best to ask when it comes to codeine n Tramadol .

Because of the length n seriousness of my opiate addiction i have forgotten what was like to be able to get high of those drugs .
Plenty of folk on herer that luv the stuff though so yo 'll be sound.

hx I totally hear you man, low dose benzos are excellent for ridding you of inhibitions & like you said, getting on with stuff you might otherwise be inhibited from doing, like buying some new clothes or cracking on with a daunting essay.

That's excatly how i responded to diazepam at doses of 5-15 mg when i first began taking it. Then my doses escalated & that honeymoon went away. For a while. I was put on a slow withdrawal off diazepam & now i'm on oxazepam 10 mg 2-3 times a day & will be off them soon, but wow, i feel much more clear headed on oxazepam than with diazepam & once again i have that occasional productive, almost manic (paradoxical?) period on benzos ; )

Yeah I'd agree with the above- I was stuck on a project two weeks ago and dreading doing any work on it as it had quite a lot of bad history. The client was a berk and I'd have loved to have just cut the strings and told them to do one but I was contractually obliged to deliver something. It was about 95% done and there was only really simple stuff to do to tie it up but every time I sat down at the desk and opened the folder I panicked and couldn't work like I normally do at all. All my other projects were going OK but this one was going backwards and it was because of all the stress that had accumulated over the course of the job (about six months of messing about and 'change this.... good.... now change it back' from the client. Then one night I happened to open the folder on about 2mg of etizolam and for the first time in months I was able to look at it without getting clouded by emotion and freaked out. In about two hours I fixed all the rubbish I couldn't approach with a straight head and the client was really pleased. WINNERS DO DO DRUGS.

A question:

I went through a period of using Diaz for about a year, with pretty sporadic use. Sometimes not using at all for a week or more. And sometimes using up to 100mg in a week. Never really dosed on consecutive days. And more often than not had a weeks break between use. Never really experienced any issues. Maybe a touch of tolerance increase from time to time. But I can still feel 10mg quite nicely when needed.

However I now want to cut down this sporadic use, to even more sporadic use. My question is, would it be better to use Xanax if I'm only planning to use very sporadically. It will be no more than once a week. I only ask because, throughout the last year, I' pretty sure that I've always had diaz in my system due to its ridiculous half-life. Even when I've had 1-2 week breaks, I imagine I'll still have had it in my system when I came to dosing again. Whereas if I was to dose weekly with Xanax, surely the shorter half-life will mean by the time I come to redosing, it will be completely out of my system.

I know the big dangers with shorter lasting benzo's are the rapid rates of dependence. However if I'm only dosing weekly at the most, will this be an issue? Cheers.

What are you using the diazepam for, if you don't mind me asking? Is it just to unwind after a long day, stim comedowns or something other than that?

If you keep it strictly to once a week then there won't be any diaz accumulating in your system, so I can't see massive problems. Your idea about the xanax is absolutely sound though, as long as you take into account the compulsion to redose, which you seem to have done.
