( i started a thread just minutes ago, sorry for starting 2 threads, but this subject is very important for me and i want to discuss it separately ).
Daily use of benzodiazepines causes me to lay awake at night ( the opposite of taking the medicine occasionally which helps me with the sleep ). What can i do?
I don't want to stop taking it because of this, but what are my alternatives really?
It's happens over and over again. When i have eaten the medication for some days or a few weeks the trouble starts. Right now i practically been awake 3 nights ( ofcourse i have sleeping without really knowing it, but it seems like i am awake all night long ).
The only thing i can do right now is to reduce the doses and that will make me feel worse. I have serious mental issues, but one alternative is to talk to my doctor about neuroleptics ( but i don't have those kind of problems in which they help it seems and neuroleptics mostly makes me sleepy or drowsy ).
