I've been known as a junkie/speed freak for most of my life and the stigma is horrible. People are VERY xenophobic.

It has only bothered me when I had a drug problem and my friends called me it, then abandoned me. What was I suppose to do then? Drugs. As if an addict didn't feel alone enough.

i love the stigma, it weeds people who wouldn't accept me for who i am away from me. i'd never say i was called a 'junkie' by people, but a stoner multiple times, or an e-tard jokingly by friends so perhaps i am not as familiar with it as others are.

what's funny is that i think there were probably kids in my high school coming to school on prescription pills every day such as adderall, xanax, oxycodone and zoloft, branding me as a druggy when, maybe once a month, i walked in stinkin' up the room with the smell of some dank marijuana, eyes all chinky and what not.
