BDD Social/Information Booth - (MK. VI) - get some sleep, kids!

That reminds me...can you be a pharmacist if you are prescribed controlled substances? I know you can't be an anesthesiologist because of your access to a VAST amount of SUPER POTENT drugs, but wasn't sure if the same would apply to a pharmacist. And IaCaster, what classes do you need to take for pharmacy school other than chem I and II and organic chem?

edit: Also cane, I've got kind of a weird question? I am just assuming from your name that you use a cane or used to at least. Do you know how to clean/disinfect a wooden cane without eating all the finish off of it? lol

hi effie! i had a pretty good day. stayed sober for most of the day. got off from work early too. MXE is amazing with weed though. 50mgs MXE + weed feels like 75mgs MXE alone. some people report of uncomfortable side-effects when they smoke weed with MXE but i love it. weed definitely adds to the experience.

my pre-pharm classes include biology, literarute, calculus, and chemistry. i was able to opt out of lit I and calc I because i took college courses in highschool and entered as a second semester freshman. i received college credit for chem I and the lab portion of the class but i decided to take those classes anyways because i like chemistry.

this is only my second year in college so i am not positive what field of pharmacy i want to go into. pharmacology intrigues me the most so probably research and development....

it's so weird. i live in the states and it is only 4pm. for a second i forgot you lived the UK, and i was like, "it's only 4 o'clock in the afternoon and you are already done drinking?" hahaha
 
Hm. Glad you guys are all happy and speedy, I have the next 8 hours with nothing to do so I'm about to prep me an Oxycodone shot. Luckily I had an unopened syringe/needle package stashed away in my dresser so I didn't have to go back to the station, I'm prepping it now...I'll check back in a few minutes when I'm opiated. You guys be careful speeding now, don't get any tickets. As for me, I'm bout to slow my reality down to a snails pace =D

Haha :D it's still early here, but we started at lunchtime. Could have carried on but am exhausted so am getting cosy in bed and entertaining myself with BL, hehe.

It intrigues me as well. I wouldn't mind becoming a pharmaceutical engineer (or whatever title fits that description) but I don't think I wan't to suffer through that much school for starters. I also don't know if I could handle all of the classes. As of now, my pain is under-managed so it's difficult for me to study. I still haven't quite decided what I want to do, but I'm pretty sure it's either going to have to do with pharmacology or mathematics.

I will say though, she did finish drinking pretty early. It is only 9:45 over there lol.

It's the social, you are allowed! I did have fun thank you, and I have stopped early, but it's the weekend tomorrow and I have mates staying til Sun.. :)

They carried on drinking but I was exhausted. It's you guys' fault, making so much mess in here for me to clean up.. ;)

Gotcha...I just meant I seem to be the one that gets the other threads closed lol. So why do ya'll kill a social thread when it gets up to 1001 posts? I figured it would take more bandwidth to start a new thread, rather than just let the current one live, but, I is a lowly bluelighter who knows nothing lol.

edit: Also, do mods have the ability to shadow log? I never see your dot green effie, or most mods dots when they're bouncing around modding threads lol.
 
It's just that threads get pretty damn long (and hard to handle) once they get to 40 pages (1000 posts). It's just board tradition, I suppose. Some threads (the Psychedelic Drugs social thread, for example) just keep going after 1000 posts. Its really a question of how the moderators feel. I like the idea of there being a new social every few weeks.

Amphetamine and ephedrine are pretty close. I just consider ephedrine to be more dirty and less euphoric.

^ I do too. I like title-changes as well, we've kept this one for far too long! Looking forward to a new one (although I am quite fond of this one now..)

What does shadow-logging mean Doug? I have my settings so people can't see when I am online or not, cos I'm a ninja ;)
 
He's talking about being able to be online without the green dot by your name showing you as online.

And yes, admins, mods, smods, Bluelighters, Greenlighters...everybody on Bluelight has this option, so, you, yes you, Doug2113, can also "shadow log" (although I've never heard of it called this, vBulletin [the forum software Bluelight runs] refer to it as "invisibility")

I picked up the term "shadow-logging" from an MMO I play. Well, I haven't been playing it as much recently, since I've been on here and doing school shit.
