Even if your friend's friend's goldfish's former catsitter's roommate's dad knows the Mexican cook that made it, it still doesn't mean its not cut. It's a street drug. Even "100% pure from the cook" methamphetamine is very rarely 100% pure. There are impurities left over from the manufacturing process.

.....I need opiates. Badly. I'm off work now and left my turnout bad in my locker at the fire station...and guess where my goodies are..yep, in my bag. FML....

^ugghhh, I took one swallow of Steel Reserve once in my life and threw the whole can out the window. That my friend, is some terrible shit! 8(

Which is why I say 80%+ to be safe

I used to go around saying pure pure pure, but I realize 100% is very hard to believe...

But seriously, is glass not freebase? Am I missing something here if it isn't?

I wouldn't even ask the question again, but I know my cognitive ability is under what it should be. So I'll make sure.

Welllll, not exactly as easy as it sounds. No one would ever go back to the station for their turnout bag (a duffle bag full of med supplies) and I'd run the risk of being looked at like "Yo, what the fuck is this guy doin'?" And theres really no good excuse to get anything out of our lockers because they're all filled with med supplies. So...I will just have to wait lol. :\

No, it's the hydrochloride salt. Methamphetamine is a nasty, corrosive oil that no-one who is not directly involved in methamphetamine manufacture is likely to see. Your acetone/MeOH washes prove nothing. I had 4.5g of powder, and I washed it with acetone. I was left with 3.8g. That was pure methamphetamine, right? No, it contained no meth at all, because it was mescaline. Your meth could be 50% table salt and pass your test.

So the HCL salt is in... shard-form... on the street... hm

Eh, I don't go off by just a tests result's, I just say its a helpful indicator
I just add a bunch of factors together (along with what the owner thinks of the meth)

It doesn't give me exact numbers, but it gives me a rough estimate... and learning how to estimate a variable you don't know is something I learned in chemistry.

Just out of habit. Everything I do with my IV drugs is legit so if I wanna bang something I will just grab a few syringes and vials outta my bag before I leave but I was in a hurry. I had some puss waiting for me when I got off so thats all I was thinking about! lol ;)

of course, I also have an unmanageable libido... due to it being SO HIGH...

Even the most audacious higher-eschelon European amphetamine sources claim 70-80% purity, unless you're a chemist or know one.

At street level I wouldn't like to gauge purity of meth, but I bet it's lower than that.

I IV'd street heroin with enough phenobarbitone in it to knock me out for thirteen hours at a time the other week.

Please be careful with your veins.

And ya, a lot of times, cooks will use different ingredients and do different methods, as well as just completely skip a step here or there to make the process cheaper/easier/quicker. I just don't understand why you think a cartel would be above cutting their shit though. If anything, that's like one of the best positions to cut it. They can stomp on it quite a bit giving them more real shit to sell without completely cutting it to nothing. Say they had an ounce of the shit. They could go and put an 8-ball (3.5 grams) of cut in it throughout before they brick it, (and yes it can be bricked) and they still have 87.5% of what's actually shit (these numbers are just made up). Do that to 7 bricks, and then add another 8-ball of cut and that's a whole brick they get to sell to someone else. The way I see it, I don't trust hardly anybody on that shit. It turns people into zombies, but instead of walking around saying, "brains! brains!" they're lurking around just looking for a fix. That shit has the potential to turn you into an empty emotionless shell whose entire life is controlled by meth and trying to get the shit.
