I've been there :(

Clonazepam is only 18-50 hours half life (although this literally doubles if I potentiate with Tagamet)

Before I ever got into benzos...I remember I could take a Klonopin or Valium and feel it for two whole days...

Thanks effie! I'd share if I could; I'm in a great mood now, of course haha.

I just purchased about #30 or so 1mg sweet n' minty, green kpins mmmmm

*Scratch dat foolz

Haha "Hank", every time I hear that name it reminds me of the hood term for heroin around here.

*As I've gotten older, and more stress piles on day by day--benzos have grown far more enjoyable and euphoric. I just like to lose my inhibitions and get sloppy when I get the chance :D

I wish we could get cimetidine here NT, it's all ranitidine which is no good! GFJ easily available though :)

Ed, thanks for the sentiment hehe. Mmm clonazepam, they taste like sweeties..

Omnom. Clonazepam is only prescribed for epilepsy here.. how are you finding it for anxiety/panic?

Have a script for 90 1 mg k-pins/month. More doctors script the menthol cool stylings of Klonipin.

It's used more for anxiety and panic here for whatever reason.

A friend of mine who has epilepsy actually has a phenobarbital prescription...diazepam (Valium) and clonazepam (Klonopin) seem to be the most popular long-acting benzos for daily (or nearly daily) use when it comes to anxiety, and alprazolam (Xanax) and lorazepam (Ativan) being the most popular for aborting full-blown panic attacks.

I was prescribed Xanax a long time ago but it doesn't work for me...it is too short-acting for my tastes and uses.

Interesting.. Generally you only get diazepam or lorazepam (for GAD and panic disorder respectively) here but I have seen people on most benzos (apart from stuff like nimetazepam obv) - clonazepam is only licensed for epilepsy though and although you can prescribe off-license I've never encountered it. I wonder why something so popular elsewhere is not prescribed here. Then again, I have no idea why hydrocodone doesn't exist here either.. yet we can get OTC codeine and DHC (woo!)

Glad it is working for you :)

Xanax always knocks me out hehe.. you don't see it much here.

(Nice thread title change, I like changing it often, keeps people on their toes ;) )

effie, you're quite welcome :)

NT, You called it! Other than the blue k-cuts (unbeatable), the classic minty Tevas are the runner up!

and Hank, I'm just feelin' good, ya' can't hate man haha :). I've had a lifetime of opi's at this young age, went far and beyond poppin' Vicodin and Percs. Learned my lesson: i.e. the bottle of Buprenorphine in my room.

Xanax for daily anxiety maintenance = trouble. Was rx'd 1 mg Xanax TID, and began to feel as if I had no benzo at all in my system. Ativan, on the other hand, wasn't bad for the same purpose, though Klonipin is probably the best I've had for round-the-clock administration.

You're like a case study in how to take benzos properly for anxiety/panic, managing to keep your doses/tolerance down.. I'm useless at that, always end up eating loads and fucking it up. Living the HR dream NT :D

Without a doubt: clonaz >>> loraz!

I never got a kick out of lorazepam, unless I was have a panic attack or going to through benzo wds. Always tended to be way too amnesic for me, more so than anxiolytic, sedative, or muscle-relaxant properties.
