Bowls and curling are fuckin brilliant! Great sports. That UK final was great mugz, I was delighted for Higgins, I always liked him even after all the nonsense, which I never really blamed him for he was just an idiot. I follow snooker quite closely, got it from my mother who is a big snooker fan.

oh and darts, darts is brilliant too!

After watching quite a few matches live, it doesn't have the same enjoyment factor on the televison anymore, it is still enjoyable, but it doesn't match up to the atmosphere of watching it live and being so close to the players.

The MC guy that introduces the players is actually a decent guy, he has a lot of stuff behind the scenes to do toget the crowd all boyed up for the matches about to start. If you possibly can I would recommend going to see on the ranking tournaments, preferably one of the long match tournaments :)

Aye, I know the story but I really really struggle to think he'd cheat, he just doesn't seem like that guy. I think it was his agent more than him.

That could just be what I want to believe though.

yeah, I agree that it was more his agent, his agent was crooked as fuck. I struggled to believe it too, but he was detailing scenarios on which he could fix a small bit of the match, without fixing the whole match, just missing ball here or there.

I don't think he did any cheating, he got the suspension for being approached about cheating but not reporting it to the governing body of snooker, which just suggests that he was either planning on doing it or he had something else to hide..

Nonetheless he came back form thei break and played like the wizard of wishaw and it was a joy to watch live :)

Like I said, I still love the guy. Snooker isn't a sport that I follow and actually support anyone if you know what I mean, but since Jimmy has all but retired John Higgins is the dude I like to see win the most.

I'm a fan of Mark Selby, the Jester from Leicester!! I was gutted that he got knocked out of the UK before I arrived as I had a Jester Costume to wear so I could get on TV but he was knocked out early so I didn't get a chance.

You're a lucky man :)

what the heck are y'all talkin about now!

i go to bed get 6 or so hours of sleep, feel great somehow (there's gotta be a decent amount of clonazepam in my system...with that 18-50 hour half life), but I'm completely lost thread-wise. too lazy to scroll up so....bring me up to speed my friends!

The only thing you need to know is we have created a new utopian society with a pub, a doc that will prescribe anything, a pharmacy, a burger van with heroin mayo, a corner shop and very very suspect virgins..

..understand?

No no, it was the right thread. It was just a very interesting random way of inviting him to read that one. And it worked cos you posted the link. Win!

ehhhh

I'm pretty hungover at the moment, took some 10mg XR Dexedrine a bit ago and I just finished a 500mL bottle of water (working on another one right now, but eh...why can you just bring the EADDers (not like you already havent haha) over to this social?
