^I'm actually in the process of packing another one, so yes I will.

And man, just thinking about Jameson 18 years old...makes my mouth water. So freakin' smooth. Unexplainable.

I'm not a big fan of the irish whiskeys, shock horror. I don't really like Jamesons. I do like the Bushmills 16 year single malt: Matured for 16 years or more in a combination of American bourbon barrels, Spanish Oloroso sherry butts and Port pipes. That is a fine whisky :)

Mugz, you've one-upped me, I'm yet to have the 16 year Bushmills, but I am a fan of their whiskeys in general so I imagine I would fall for it quite quickly, as is what happened with me and Jameson 18 year and Redbreast.

ooooohhh redbreast, im impressed! I prefer Black bush to bushmills.

wait, we've had this redbreast thing before havent we

We have indeed had the Whiskey Conversation before, but, to be fair, I think we were all in similar states of intoxication when we first had the conversation. ;)

My animosity towards Bushmills and Glasgow Rangers are thankully the only rabid sectarian traits that ever filtered through from my family. :)

The latter is far more understandable than the former, as someone once gave me a glass of Bushmills 16yo for a laugh without telling me, and I'm ashamed to say I quite liked it.

^Don't be that ashamed ;)

It's morning (proper morning, with the Sun and light and stuff) in Europe right now...looking like a great Friday, Mr. Grim?

It's grey and overcast, but pretty warm. Rain may be on the horizon, but hey - it's Friday. :)

Apart from being at work (and the aforementioned greyness) it's a fairly bright and breezy one thanks, NT. I see all is well with you. ;)

Hey BDDers.. hope all are well. I am bearing up okay today. Got very drunk last night and actually managed to pass out and get some decent sleep.. Being surrounded by Dave's family and friends is a real comfort, as is all the support on here.. am off-duty moderating-wise at the mo I think but wanted to pop by the social thread and say hi <3

Only time I watch soccer is during the World Cup. I actually enjoy watching it but I love american football, its the great american past time.
I thought baseball was the great American pastime? btw, in England we call it "rounders" and it is exclusively played by prepubescent girls.

You need to move out of the dark Satanic North, it's absolutely blazing sunshine down here. Almost too hot tbh.

Much love effie, glad you got a decent bit of kip.

Pretty much the same here in the States...I can't for the life of me understand the appeal. A good game of chess gets my blood flowin' more than any game of baseball.

Baseball is possibly the most boring sport that exists. I've tried to watch it, I understand it (unlike cricket for the most part) but its just so dull its crazy. I completely believe that people go to watch baseball to eat and get pissed and thats about it.

Chess is fantastic, not exactly exciting but I would rather watch 2 masters playing chess than watch baseball any day.

Although, some people think snooker is boring where as I could watch snooker all day long and never get bored.

Glad you managed to get some sleep and have a nice time out with some of Evads friends last night. Sleep is important, and so is remembering the good times.

Lots of positive and happy thoughts are being sent your way from me and many other people I suspect. <3<3:)

Chainsaw, I agree with your analysis of Baseball, it is not a fun game to watch in any shape or form. We used to play rounders in PE at school, which was basically baseball but with short bats and and underarm dealer.

You could learn a lot from watching two masters playing chess, so that could be interesting too.

I don't know why, but I rather enjoy watching the bowls on the BBC2, it is rarely on, but although you woudl never have thought it it can get quite exciting :) :)

I agree 1000000% I went to see the UK Championship at Telford International Centre Last year and watched some top quality matches. The final was amazing,to watfch John Higgins pull out a special win against Mark Williams. Was a great match.
