BDD Social/Info Booth - Special PPV Cuming to you Shortly!

Using dissociatives too much also seems to really fuck with people's minds (shockingly enough). Weird egocentric epistemic phenomena start to happen. Be careful.

For the mxe users, I just wanted to point this out. While this abstract is regarding ketamine, it likely applies to methoxetamine as well given their structural similarities and it's something every user should be aware of.

Conclusions These findings imply that heavy use of ketamine is harmful to aspects of both cognitive function and psychological wellbeing. Health education campaigns need to raise awareness among young people and clinicians about these negative consequences of ketamine use.

Thank you for the heads up sir. I may hold off for the night. I just dont have the energy really. I have taken 300mg of caffeine today and just can muster up the urge to use it. I want to, mentally. Physically, no.

This of course could change very drastically, but it is definetely something to keep in mind and I appreciate your concern and HR awareness :)

Edit: Gah everybody jumped in before me.

This really goes for alot of drugs tho. Moderation.

I wonder if MXE has the same detrimental effect on kidneys/bladder as ket. I know that at least with ket, most people don't eat it (I personally always spit drip out, always fun to have tesco bags of my spit lying around to piss my mates off when im on it), but with MXE I know a lot of people use it oral too.

Erm... it's hard to explain. They just start to like, overfit I guess. Recognise patterns that no-one else does, kind of get delusions of grandeur, start to think that there's some sort of elaborate phenomenon that revolves around them... it's weird, as I say. They tend to start believing weird shit, basically. It's not a good look. It's from a poverty of stimulus, when everything you experience is internal, you start to lose your grip on consensus reality.

In theory it's not supposed to. There's an interesting article about it here but that's the only source I can find about it's pharmacology..

edit: Vader's right, and it can ultimately lead to full-blown psychosis (happened to someone I know..) Seeing patterns in things is definitely a classic sign of dissociative overuse.

I think that most drug users in the South West will know someone who's lost it due to K :\

Seeing patterns in things? I always get the blurring, tessellation shit going on if I stare at a fixed point on, for example, a bush or a colourful carpet, for 30seconds or so. Though I presumed that was just regular HPPD.

Ah no not literally, more like.. patterns in life, in the world in general, they start linking things that are unrelated and creating elaborate theories that no one else understands (because they are blatantly ridiculous..)

No, like patterns in events. Somehow, everything that happens becomes connected in some mystical way that only you can see. That doesn't sound like HPPD, just normal visual phenomena. Happens to everyone, but only people who've heard of HPPD are looking for it, know what I mean? Don't worry about it.
Ninjad by effie. Such is life.

^Yeah, we're all Freemasons working for the CIA to bring about a new world order. It's all in the Mayan calendar.

exactly cane.. He described the noticing of patterns as synchronicity. There are patterns in the universe.. in all things even events.. Perhaps the people who are seeing them are the awake ones..or close to enlightenment. Not seeing patterns or order is seeing chaos.

If there was a pattern there'd be causality. What Jung described was the ridiculous belief that coincidences have some kind of mystical meaning.
