I think he is more party orientated imo when i see him i love his shows good mashups and some good dnb but idk ive seen rusko caspa benga plastician dastik excision dz skream jakes doctor p et cetera and he has to be one of the best but hit or miss. idk why theres all these dubstep haters like if you listen to rock and rap and shit and just dont like electro i see your point but if your one of those house/trans/minimal people then shut the fuck up its all the same bee bop shit.

ask and I received.... thank god 3 NC bassnectar shows in a row! I get to see two of them then headed to milwaukee to spend a couple weeks with a friend (might stay longer so I can see the end of the tour in Milwaukee... :D)

Ticket were 25 including tax for the early birds. I was hoping the early birds would be 20 max with everything included, but ah well... its bassnectar
 
Bassnectar is pretty good but he is no EDM god, I love dubstep and I have been to a few shows and most DJs throw ina lot of variety and have awesome remixs, but imo bassnectar doesnt throw it down hard or keep the party goin at his live performances like other artists I have seen. After going to Ultra this year and seeing the variety in other EDM and dubstep mixed peoples shows He became even less appealing.
I saw him recently at Allgood and I enjoyed it, but I dont understand the hype and why he has his own thread.

Rusko?

Those guys should have their own threads

@ Borgore I had someone come up and ask if I was rolling, when I said no they offered me drugs, it was great.
 
Bassnectar is sick i just now got into him. i think he doesnt stick to just one sound.
 
Dismal, just because you don't appreciate bassnectars music or performances doesn't mean you should come in and flame bassnectar and obviously many bl'ers enjoy nectar by the response of this thread.

You say bassnectar doesn't deserve his own thread but Rusko does? C'mon now... I saw the ultra sets and I have heard better live sets, and seen videos of better shows. The ultra sets werent bad but I have heard him do better, don't base your opinion just on that.

Also trust me... he mixes up the variety... he will play something melodic and then drop a super bass heavy track... mixes sick accapellas, play old old tracks, and all kinds of new remixes that he makes non stop.

If you want to discuss borgore and rusko make sure you search first, then I suggest you create a thread to discuss how much you appreciate them. I like some borgore tracks, I will stick my head in the thread :D

I don't know how you can say Bassnectar sucks (you may not like him, but that's entirely different). This guy is a madman when it comes to producing tracks. The amount of different genre styles he incorporates into his music is crazy, I doubt you could even name a handful of artists as creative (and still creative!) as him.
 
I KNOW i KNOW rub it in.. just wait till i catch him possibly 3 times in the next 3 months... 2 for sure... and i saw 2 at ultra (one set i can remember from there)

hes also producing remixes and new tracks weekly... and he also has a feature in his site, u tell him hat show u will be at and a track you will like remixed and from what ive heard over 50% of the request's get filled. :D

the video from shambala when he dropps beastie boys lyrics is so flawless it was ridiculous... .whether i was drunk or on drugs I woulda go wild. On dr00gz, who knows what i would done. :d :D ;)

It's cool, ive seen him about 3-4 times within the past year, and am seeing him again next month =D
