Bassnectar anyone?

Let people worship or love whatever you wanna call it..... whoever they want. I have no clue what you listen to but im not gonna rag on it regardless of what it is.

I don't like any other dubstep djs/producers out right now. But I havent really exposed myself to a lot of artists dealing with that sub genre. So I dunno.

well you should expose ya self to the genre!

really, dubstep is mad, you just need the sound system that can cope with the massive sub lines. there are many awesome artists out there you just have to find your fav sound in dubstep, theres all that cheesy caspa, rusko shit. and then theres the really deep sound scape guys like burial, scuba, vaccine. got the deep jungle flavours like mala and loefah, silkie and quest. got the really heavy almost metal like artists, bar9, rob sparx, reso. heaps more but not gonna go into it that much.

lots of styles within the genre, i can listen to all of em, tho im not liking the cheesy shit nowadays.

a dj im really diggin right now is benny page, his dubstep is ridiculous, really clean cut and techy. usually collabin with Zero G on dubstep stuff

Cozza Frenzy has officially been dropped, and it is amazing!!!!
a lot of different styles all mixed into one CD and its absolutely euphoric.
I suggest everyone pick up a copy

**I personally love the fact that he did a remix of a DJ Starscream song. Props for that**

bassnectar is that shit... he is spinning dub like it should be done and i appreciate him for that... especially when i am puddled in a khole teehee

Yep. They play here in Santa Cruz a lot.

Have you ever heard of Beats Antique or Ill Gates?

I absolutely hate the fact that Bassnectar has an entire collection of remixes and originals that he only uses in live shows.

I want to listen to them all but alas, I cant as no one except the nectar himself has them :(

I wish he would put out a copy of his Still Dre remix, his Take Me To The Hospital remix and his It Was Written remix.

oh what I'd give for him to release those.

Only a few of them

LSD
Superstylin
Fight for your Right
Land of the Lupes
Kingston Town
Ready2Rage

(all of which I have)

While i thank you for the links, all of those are either up for release, or Ive already downloaded :P

trust, Ive searched everywhere for the remixes he plays.

I can understand why he'd only play certain songs live and not release them though

Releasing a remix takes a lot of written work, plus only playing certain songs live keeps people coming back.
(even though regardless of what he'd put out id still pay whatever amount of money it was to see him. I am one of those that would "build a shrine around his piss", as @lterEgo put it, and i am proud :D)

New EP dropping on beatport March 15th!!!!!

The preview is up on his website now, it's going to be BANANAS!!!!!!

just saw him this past weekend in bozeman. kickass show-i turned on a bunch of skeptics to his music. always good to get good electronica in montana.
