UEI is in a whole 'nother ballgame than bali, or any plain leaf for that matter. UEI (and FST as well) are typically referred to as the king of extracts, and share an effect more akin to that of full agonist opioids than kratom itself. UEI is most certainly expensive, very expensive for a kratom product, but if you only use occasionally they are certainly a worthwhile treat. If you are a daily user however, heed the warning that these will skyrocket tolerance fairly quick rendering plain leaf rather weak and even without any appreciable effect depending on how much UEI you've been indulging in. I also hear that the withdrawal from UEI is quite horrific, far stronger than plain leaf withdrawal.
As for the effects, I would compare them more to oxycodone than kratom, it can be stimulating but in a very relaxing and clean way. Ever dose a pharmaceutical opioid and find yourself motivated and talkative, but not jittery in the finest sense? That's kinda how UEI feels, though I have also had pure noddy buzzes as well. I can only give a very rough equivalent dose to 3-4 grams, so if I had to make an estimate, it would perhaps be around .5-.7g of UEI? You'd have to do a bit of titration perhaps, so dose for dose UEI is certainly quite a bit more costly, but it serves a fantastic rare treat. I certainly wouldn't plan on switching from plain leaf to UEI permanently, at least not if you use kratom with any real regularity.
