Whoa. Good rant

I appreciate the time and effort for that reply haha.
Struggling to follow your line of thought at some points here, being rather high probably doesnt help.
So what your saying is alcohol can be safe when not abused, and by using its use and abuse as example my argument must be flawed?
Sad truth is you dont even have to "abuse" alcohol to harm yourself.
Sorry mate but I fail to see how that isnt a level playing field. Legalities aside, all drugs have the potential for abuse. I think its quite fair to compare drug A to drug B, and I'm not by any means talking solely about abuse. Alcohol is toxic at any dose, and I'm not lieing when I say its the most toxic chemical that I've ever ingested - because it is. Where as with various other chemicals in my arsenal I'm able to achieve far more desireable effects with very little or no negative impact on my body. Alchohol is toxic to nearly every major organ in the body, only one of which is capable of self-repair.
So yeah, when I'm getting hassled by those who choose to drink to excess (damaging their body with every dose) and look down upon myself for consuming irrefutably safer (in terms of physical harm) chemicals, based soley on legal status then sure I'm going to have a go, as you can be damn sure I've educated those people time and time again on what they're doing to their body's.
However, that response first posted was tailored on a personal basis and I'm not sure that everyone makes quite the body conscious decisions regarding their drug intake as myself. Therefore is in no way suitable as a blanket statement.
/end rant.
Yay for intelligent discussion

If only those passing on the stigma were as willing to thrash out the issue as bl'ers
