Baclofen + Modafinil? Have you tried it?

Nope. Sounds like a rather bizarre combo. I would assume that they would cancel each other out in many ways.

mixing an unusual upper with an unusual downer, only one way to find out what its like...

i'd guess the baclofen would just take away some of the stimulant properties of the modafinil, but idk.

I was doing some reading on baclofen on these forums, stumbled across this post this post
which raised some interest in this unusual mix.

I haven't tried this combo in particular but I take dextroamphetamine and baclofen regularly (on D5 20mg and BN 20mg right now) and I wouldn't say they simply cancel each other out but they are working at opposite ends. The D5 keeps me up and with it while the BN10 makes me wobbly different to either alone. Be careful! :)

I haven't tried this in combomation. I am on baclofen. 25 mgs 4x daily. when I am off it, I notice no diffence. I would rather be on soma for muscles spasms, but the pain dr insists on baclofen. Also on 800mg Neurntin 4 x daily. And a few other opiates oc 10mg and Norco 10 mg both 4 times daily. Like I said I don't see any diff when I am off baclofen. I notice when I am off neurontin as I have diabetic neuropathy. And the narcotics I notice a diff as I am ruptured l3 l4 l4 s1 in my lower lumbar along with osteoarthritis and severe degenerative disk disease. On some days when its feeling so so I will go strictly wtih 800 mg Ibupro-phen and sometimes it really does help! I like those days

You know what they say about assumptions.... Anyhow, just because one takes a stimulant and a depressant doesn't mean the effects are canceled out whatsoever.. what about speedballing? Think cocaine cancels out heroin? Nope. Or for example, fioricet (or other combinations of containing a barbiturate + caffeine); which, from personal experience I can definitively say it doesn't take away from the effects whatsoever (aside from helping with the overwhelming drowsiness, which I at least prefer).

The only drugs which truly cancel one another out are agonists & antagonists, like morphine & naloxone; or more complex combinations (like high affinity, partial agonists taken with full agonists, of which the user is addicted to: i.e., a heroin addict taking buprenorphine). So I agree w/ the greenlighter above:
