I love meth and have been using it weekly for years.

I think it's funny the guys saying all "speed" in Oz is actually meth.

So you don't have any further issues with it I will clarify my point as best I can.

Speed, as a term is whatever the context defines it as. Speed for a driver in a race means velocity. Speed, when talked about by everyone I know of in Australia, means methamphetamine or amphetamine sulphate interchangably, though always expect methaphetamine and dont expect actual amphetamine sulphate unless you specify. It does not refer solely to amphetamine sulphate. As you can see from your above quote, you are trying to seperate the drug methamphetamine from the term speed, which you are free to do so, but you could also go ahead and speak elvish and nobody would understand what the heck you are on about.

It is the same sort of thinking that leads people to ask about "Ice", then when someone starts telling them about methamphetamine they get defensive and flame people for not realising that a very long time ago possibly in a different country people used to use the term "Ice" to refer to a very obscure drug (4-MAR).

As others have said, it was most likely all methamphetamine.

from what has been seized here in canberra (meth wizz, base enter whatever slang name here), all of them have come back as methamphetamine just of varing quality. crystal methamphetamin (ice) being when the substance has made correctly and crystalised into glass shape form.

i know that alot of the stuff around canberra thats called speed or meth is methamphetamine which still has a lot of liquid in it- possibly for the purposes of marketing.

higher liquid weight = heavier= more money when sold

you also have to remember that there is a diffrerence between purity and the effect (i cant remember the proper words right now) - just because you have crystal methamphetamine doesnt meant that is going to have the desired effect of great rush or effect on the body.

mind you workin in the AOD field and seeing what crystal methamphetamine abuse does to ones mental health - maybe the lesser of the two evils in moderation is better healthwise anyway *shrugs*

If your gonna use meth, please be careful. Its highly addictive and a good way to ruin your life if it gets out of control.

I have found that the quality of all forms of speed is pretty shite in both QLD and VIC. But I personally still would much rather it over pills any day.

Once again, its all about who you know.
