Its a bit different - you fill in a survey and if you qualify they send you samples of stuff. No need to wait for the points to mount up - you get the stuff straight away.

I have got free moisturizer samples (like about 10+ bottles) to share with my friends; free magazines; coffee stuff; sweeteners; and when you get the stuff you get a crapload of it to share with all your mates :) I have heard of someone who received a couple of cases of the "mother" drink before it came out, and there was another vodka promo on there before i got on there :X
 
Ahhh...the Soup. They are a good company. We do all of our projects with them - they want us to buy their business. Definitely join up with them!

In the past week i've gotten 4 packs of new mentos (they are awesome btw), 2 protein samples, 14 days worth of fibre supplement and a free rubber... life is sweet.

Received protein samples a couple of weeks ago but they didn't agree with my stomach... could be lactose intollerance but I haven't had problems with whey protein before?

I haven't tried the protein yet, i'll give it a go after a workout on the weekend and let you know. I think I have found myself a new hobbie.
 
The recovery protein is the bomb, really good stuff, your muscles won't feel shit if you've done a hard days work, it suprised me :)

I just got this strange little electrical thing in the mail

It was adressed to my dog, but I dont remember ordering it when I looked through Rm2X's free stuff. :\

It didnt come with a letter or anything just the companies name and website on the envelope. "Anywhere computer accesories"

Maybe the franger people gave this company my dogs name and address? :D

Oh snap!! Ye ole Child of the Beat received that exact same device a couple of days ago........ it didn't work very well (read not at all) so it was disconected. I thinks now it has been reading my interwebs :(

On all Hungry Jacks cash registers there is a button that says 2 FOR 1 Whoppers.
This button is on there for promotions, BUT, but the joy of it is that 99% of Hungry Jacks won't ask you for a voucher.

This only works for Whoppers', and will only work if you are buying a single one.

When you goto Hungry Jacks ask for a "2 for 1 Whopper deal. I have also done this for a 2 for 1 Whopper with cheese.

Won't work on any other burgers or products though, so don't ask for a 2 for 1 meal or anything greedy like that :)

Keep it sectret ;)
 
Problem with freebies is most end up being cheap tacky imitations of things you should really pay for or such low quality they aint worth shit.

I hate asking for freebies as its really embarassing. Sure, you would be a fool to pay more than what its worth but if you cant afford what you want, then you cant have it. Get a decent income by working for your money and free shit aint so important.

Working for a living gives money more value. These free things are great but not that riveting. In fact most would break after one use.
 
^ i disagree totally. i work for a living and I LOVE Free stuff... the stuff I have got, i have still got and i still use. (except for the franga of course ;))

^Agreed. I love a good freebie, although I can understand what you're getting at zephyr. I know most people [myself included, sometimes] tend to place more value on something they've paid for. But it's also nice to get things for nothing every now and then. :)
 
I love a good freebie, especially when you win it. I have won 5 CDs, a pair of havaianas and a $200 gift voucher recently from radio comps.

Also, I have been doing product trialling at work recently for various big clients like Dove, J&J, Carefree and Nivea and it's so nice to get the emails back from our participants raving about how much they enjoyed being part of our product trial and how many of them will now purchase the product because they loved trialling it.
