Australian freebie thread

I got a huge box of Freebies from Masterfoods recently when I complained about one of their dips.

It's worth calling the 1800 number people!
 
vending machine at $1.20 of mine and didnt give me what i wanted
so i called the number of the machine
and then sent me a $1.20 in the mail

I complained about a 10-pack of Sunkist that had one empty can, I got 6 10-packs the next week. Was ecstatic, it's taught me always to complain.

I was munching away on corn chips and salsa dip when I found what I believe to have been plastic shreds in the dip. I put them aside and called the number on the pack. The guy was straight on to it and sent me a plastic bag for the shreds and a reply paid envelope the next day.

I received a reply a few days later saying they had tested the "plastic" and it was onion skin.....:\

I still have my doubts as I've seen many an onion skin and normally you can successfully bite through it with your front teeth. The samples I found had the consistency of a thick but maluable plastic..... anyway, what do I know?

But they then sent me out a goodie pack filled with sauces, dips, spices, and everything else they make. I was very happy with the result. And have since eaten the dip again. :p

heh, i just had a look at that and filled my details to get sent the free "butt bag":D thanks for the link. it will be useful when i'm bush walking or beach walking and those kind of things, that when i need a smoke, i can enjoy a cig or joint whenever i want!

you could give them to all your smoking friends for christmas. all you need to know is their name and address.
 
I just flick the tobacco out of the butt and put it in my pocket if it's not convenient to put it out in a bin/ashy. Especially when I'm in the bush...
