i find that channel nine are usually very anti-drugs: on ACA and 60 minutes they are always anti Ritalin and anti Dex-amphetamine - it drives my psychiatrist nuts! :-)
 
ice is meth freebase... people are asking what ice is and such, I think it's worth pointing out that ice can be called the 'crack' version of meth. Same principle.
 
Ice is slang for crystal meth in Australia.

Liric what is freebase meth, I never heard the term before.

^ Nice Larry David avatar, he's the man. Freebase meth is smokable meth. Crystal Meth = Ice = Freebase Meth. But a lot of people also refer to 4-MAR as Ice, no matter, similar drug.

This drug is a nightmare, I really can't comprehend how people could call it as addicting as Heroin though, give me a break. But we all have different brain chemistry so who knows?

I don't understand what they mean by people marketing Ice as the cool, new thing to do... That's ridiculous.
 
People should stop calling 4-mar 'Ice'. 4-mar is not anywhere near as widespread as crystal meth, so crystal meth by right, should have dibs on that slang.

I know this situation first hand which many of you probably do to.
I O.D one night at a night club in the toilets, which scared the crap outt my friends. They had no idea what to do except for get the bouncers and ring the Ambo's.

BUT

ONE THING THEY SHOULD NOT have done was abuse and blame the person I got them off.
So here I am in a huge shit fight sticking up for a friend that supplied them for me, after scaring the shit outta the girls like come on "what were you thinking you may ask??".

At this point they all have the shits with me cause I had them worreid sick and im sticking up for the person that in their words "nearly killed me"

But the point of the story is IM the one that wanted it, this person just got it for me, it isn't like he forced me into it and they had no right to go off at him.

And yeah I understand they were scared but its knowone elses fault but MINE.

What do you call someone that kills themself?? deffinately not a serial killer!

can't believe ice usage is on the increase, and that people are now choosing it over ecstasy as a party drug. I've said this before in...ecstasy discussion a while back I think, for me personally ice does jack-shit, don't understand how pple reckon it gives em a "high".
Maybe it's just me, or I've never hit it hard enough tho I've had it hmm maybe 20 times in last yr (haven't really kept count) and a few on those times has been having a fair bit...n the physical effect from it, the "feeling", hasn't really been anything. Cept keeping you up, making your heart beat harder/deeper (if u kno wot i mean) and often making you feel lethargic n kinda dirty the next day (n look pretty life drained due to the chems n lack of sleep). Oh and also make you talk a lotta crap haha. Twice I went unusually quiet n withdrawn on it....kno once of those times was coz it was really dodgy gear...

Also the addictiveness of it is always being highlighted but I can't really see that either. Sorry, step back, couse I can see that hehe (if you have it often enough etc) but it's so take it or leave it for me, never yearn for it.
Can't believe people reckon it's better than ecstasy which gives you that feeling etc but guess that's just my opinion.
Also I kno some people who abuse the drug pretty bad n the obvious effects of it ain't good- one in particular he's literally gone crazy, is dellusional n paranoid...pretty sad/concerning....
