Guys, whats happening (as I found out lastnight) is that your browser is logging you into my ftp site as user 'anonymous' either login directly with an ftp client, or try this link ... sorry bout the mix up!

Porbably a good idea to keep your bass down to about 25% when listening too, I'm finding ... depends on your setup of course)

Can't really say a date right now for when the finalists will be announced. I've still got a couple mixes left to listen to, and there's a couple mixes I haven't been able to get. Those of us judging will get together soon and announce the finalists.
A word to the wise, if you link is broken, or we can't get ahold of you mix, we can't judge it. I, for one, am not gonna beg anybody to make sure their hosting is set up right.

Bio: Infuze was thrown into the electronic music scene at a very young age when he moved to Belgium. He started producing tracks 7 years ago, and hasn't looked back since. Eventually he picked up a pair of turntables and started DJing, experimenting with different genres. Quickly, he found himself immersed in Drum and Bass. Infuze's style can best be described as "funky," since his tracks might be hard or jazzy, but they always maintain a funky drum beat. Turntablism also tends to make an appearance during his sets. Infuze is now poised to become a big player in the Drum and Bass scene since he recently played a gig at Konkrete Jungle NYC.

If there is anybody intersted in hearing my mix, since I could not get anybody to host me for anybody other then the mods, I would be willing to stream it at a date and time convenient for you. Reply here (if thats ok with the mods) or PM me with a time and date which is convenient for you.

and by the way, thank you everyone who submitted a mix, lots of new music for us mods to listen to, plus im SURE (1500+ viewers of this thread) pleanty of people got to hear your music...Many of you have very good mixes, some of you need a bit more work but EVERYONE here showed promise, and after all of this is over, anyone who submitted a mix can ask me if they want some constructive criticism, as well as the other mods...thanks again everyone who is participating in this competetition, I'm workin on gettin some goodies for the top 5, possibly a free shirt or cd, something cool good luck again to everyone!

Nick had his first taste of electronic music when he moved to Belgium in 1989.He was submersed in it for almost 6 years, but at the time he didn't learn toappreciate it. He moved back to the US in 1995, and quickly realized how integral the music was in his life- but there wasn't any to be found where he wasliving. He moved to Colorado in 1996, but didn't discover the scene here until 1998. Nick immediately fell in love. Both the music and the energy reminded him a lot of Europe, and also had a vibe that carried him away. After finding different ways to work with production companies, he was still feeling a void- he wasn't impacting people the way he wanted to. In the spring of 2001, he knew what he needed to do- he went out and picked up some tables and a mixer. The music is what had captivated and influenced him so much, so he knew that if he wanted to make an impact on the scene, he would share his love for music with others.
Nick enjoys all genres, and tries to experiment with them all, but his heart is in trance. It's the music that he heard in Europe, and what he fell in love with when he became interwoven within the rave scene. He'll continue to bring fresh music to the tables that'll keep both nu-school and old school kids jumpin'
