Ativan (lorazepam) -Poll-

i love ativan before doing a shot of dope or blowing some oxy.
i like ativan before smoking weed and/or drinking a couple beers/shots.
there is no time i can say i don't like ativan. a great classic downer.

Pleasant in that it's relaxing, but as other have said, puts me to sleep in higher doses (around 1.5-2mgs). No hallucinations.

I was using ativan in the mental hospital 2mg every 6 hours it was great as a mood lifter and anxiety. When I started fucking with benzos I was on .5 as needed and I'd eat 4-5mg of the stuff I would be pretty sedated with some hash on it but the memory stuff wasn't as bad as the other benzos. I slept nice with it too.

I usually dont have very serious anxiety or anything, so i may be missing the therapeutic index of the drug, but ativan (unfortunately) is the ONLY benzo that does not offer me recreation. I can eat 8mg and maybe feel a bit sleepy, but if i eat 2mg of xanax, im off my rocker drunk, lovin life. Benzo's can be so weird eh?

i really like ativan when i'm eating it before combining it with other stuff like weed, painkillers, or a couple drinks. by itself i need at least 3mg to feel good but 1mg does the job in terms of anxiety IME.

I love ativan. I usually take it in combination with xanax, or an opioid, sometimes with butalbital. It goes great with bud, and smoking cigs on ativan is amazing. I'm off to take 3 or 4 mg with some alprazolam, flexeril, and butalbital.

^ believe me dude i've tried that combo many times. i blew like 100 mg of adderal everyday for 3 years so i'm not really down with reviving an old battle though. but your right the amphetamine gives just the right amount of energy to counteract the unnecessary sedation, but not too much to ruin it if you are taking small bumps. i usually just use caffeine as my speed ball thing these days and it works out pretty well. The Fiorecet(butalbital) has caffeine in it so it gives me enough energy.

Man i'm feeling amazing, i've got 5 fiorecet, 3 darvocet, 2 mg of alprazolam, 15 mg of flexeril, and 4 mg of lorazepam in me. Its a beautiful day and its about to get better.

the only other benzo i like besides ativan is xanax and i get 2 different reactions from both of them, if i wanted to get completely fucked up id take xanax, if i want a reasonable high id go with ativan, and i always smoke so i do hallucinate a little bit with weed/ativan quite often actually out of the side of my eyes

I looove sublingual Ativan. The most euphoric benzo for me that I've tried by far (the others being Xanax, Valium, and Restoril). Part of this is probably because its muscle relaxant properties for me are simply out of this world. I'm not sure opiates ever make me feel as good as just lying on my bed on 5mg lorazepam.

I love Ativan in many ways- by itself, with opiates, with amps. Clonozapam second. But I don't like xanax. I don't know why it's so popular. I get no euphoria, feel burnt and tired.

I was on it for panic attacks and anxiety. It was okay I guess. I would usually take Ativan and a Valium, the Ativan would work quick and wear off quick and the Valium would be there to stick around. It was definitely a good combo.

I kind of agree with this guy. Right now I have ativan 1mg's, alprazolam 2mg's, clonazepam 1mg's (which I developed a complete tolerance), temazepam 30. Out of all of them if used correctly ativan is the best. Ive been doing benzos for years. The key is how you do it. If you swallow a bunch of ativan its not going to provide a nice high. If you take about 1 or 2 mg sublingual, lay down and watch tv, youll notice your eyes start closing like your on opiates.

I personally dont like alprazolam anymore. I used to love it, now it gives me this feeling that I need something more (maybe because Im a recovering opiate addict) and it kinda makes me speedy.

I love temazepam.. But Im developing a tolerance to that too.

As far as the klonopin it used to be THE BEST. But i started taking upwards of 20 mgs a day with no effect.

Ok now a question. Can someone shed somelight on what is the best way to get high off klonopin? Because I have been taking it sublingually because for some odd reason I always think that is the way to go. And not wanting to waste them I never swallow them. Has anyone have any experience on if klonopin works better sublingual or swallowed? Also do any of the mentioned benzos work rectally? 3rd which one of these benzos are enhanced by cyp3a4 inhibitors? I know clonazepam is. And I dont think temazepam is. Also temazepam has an oralbioavailability of 100% and in america there is no way to take them sublingual for they come as powder in capsules (unless you empty out the powder which is pointless since they work best oral.)

One more thing, the only time I hallucinated off benzos or z drugs is when I was in rehab for over a year in florida, flew back home to pennsylvania, ate 6 ambien cr~s and a subutex and when i got back to florida everything was warping around and melting. I was nodding out and passing out l ike I was on heroin. The people at the 3/4 way house kept drug testing me but neither of the drugs would come up on their panel. I was fucked up for almost two days. Like if I would look at the stove it would start warping like it was made out of jello. Anyone experience this/

I voted the first two, but I use lorazepam more therapeutically than most other benzos. I wouldn't consider it all that recreational because it's a bit more subtle than say Valium or Xanax...at least in my experience. It is one of the best for anxiety though, in my opinion.
