DarthMom, sun in libra with moon in gemini gives the impression of a socially-adept individual. your strong points are flexibility, diplomatic honesty, and resourcefulness. you are probably a somewhat sensitive person (ascendant cancer), but ultimately are predominantly a thinker. your moods change swiftly and it is natural to then seek out mental analysis to put things in order. your mix of sensitivity and shrewdness makes you an ideal diplomat or debater. you are probably most happy using your mind to discern what is fair in any given situation. you are also likely to crave harmony in your personal life and beyond. you have an uncommon ability for controlling and breaking negative emotional habits and patterns (moon trine pluto). people probably admire your way of handling tense emotional situations and you might be someone who plays peacemaker or gives advice.
venus in virgo in house #2 suggests creative/artistic flair that can be used for recognition and possibly income. you might have a knack for business. this would be a great position for an art dealer.
mars trine uranus in water sings suggests you may have trouble sticking to one romantic affair. curb your impulses a bit more..
neptune in sagittarius in the fifth house points to a natural impulse to create. art, music, prose.. you have a knack for self-expression and discovery. if you dont have any hobbies along these lines yet, i would suggest giving them a try. you probably enjoy a romantic partner as well.
jupiter in aries in the 9th house is a favorable position in a chart. it denotes a curiosity in the subjects of social justice, philosophy, and psychology. your quest for knowledge and understanding will likely bring you in contact with many cultures and religions. you also have an ability to see the possibilities in life where others may see only restriction..

randycaver - your sun (gemini), moon (sagittarius) and rising sign (leo) combination is lively and enthusiastic. moon in the fifth house shows a person that takes pleasure in sensual, creative, and romantic affairs. you may be a person that falls into indulgent habits easily. how you feel about your day is directly linked to your personal satisfaction at the time. you are all about comfort and enjoyment and revel in having an activity partner at arm's length.
venus in gemini in the 11th house points to a friendly, upbeat disposition and naturall likeable social presence. you also are probably lighthearted and flirtatious. you might be favored over others in your place of work or social circle. uranus in house four suggests you may move frequently or stay in different places.
you have a greeat curiosity to see and experience the world at your own pace. sun trine jupiter adds a bit of luck and optimism to the mix.
mercury in gemini in the 11th house suggests that you learn a lot from conversing with your friends. you may seek deep truths and understanding in life. ironically you probably find practical means such as casual discussion adequate to feed your curiosity.
the picture i got from your chart, with such a focus on air and, to a lesser extent, fire signs, was that of a really happy-go-lucky type with lots of energy and curiosity.

great job saturnine, it was incredibly dead on. everything is accurate except one comment, about possibly enjoying a romantic partner. i find romance unnecessary, it isn't something i care about. not romantic at all.

the quest for knowledge and understand bit struck me the most.

if i had to pick an analysis of all the ones you posted, without seeing who they were for, i would have picked that one as mine, so that impresses me.

that impresses me, too!

i think that's probably the goal of anyone who uses astrology. that's as close to an objective answer as possible IMO, so it's a great compliment. =D

Mariposa420 -sorry i didn't take a stab at your chart right away. it certainly appeared complex from first glance..

i guess when i saw the rising libra with a first house pluto and an aries sun in the 7th, i knew it would be an interesting chart to examine. "an intense personality" was my first reaction. lots of fire in your chart. also, i confess a smidge more intimidation in reading the charts of people who know a great deal about astrology..i want to them justice, after all.

okay, so here's what i came up with.

emotionally intense (sun conjunct moon in aries.) involved attentively in one thing of interest most of the time. despite impulsiveness, you have a great ability to focus your energies. you are driven, charismatic, and passionate. you probably would say that have a natural interest in others and gain much from getting to know others on the inside for who they are.. you are likely to have good communicative ability and possess curiosity to learn more about people and their inner workings in general. - i see why you're a SLR mod with your 7th house so prominent in the chart.
a transcendental planet like uranus struck me as odd placed in the second house (but who am i to talk with a 1st house uranus? :p ) a broad statement to sum it up could be that freedom is an issue for you. you probably view material as either a vehicle for freedom or a hindrance to it. even if the latter is true, i would say that you are unhappy when you dont have any pocket money to spend freely because it limits the ability to choose activities at whim. you may have odd or distinct taste in art and/or home decor..
neptune in sagittarius in the third house suggested to me a dreamer, someone who entertains many possibilities. you're probably not a big fan of cold hard logic or dry facts. subjects that interest you should have a colorful or personally inspiring element to them if they are to maintain your attention for long.
chiron in the 8th points to a person with the ability to bring the best out of a sex partner. you could be a sex therapist, like the lady from 'talk sex with sue'! again i see why you are in the sex, love and relationships forums..
venus in gemini in the 9th house seems like a fun placement to me. you probably love bright colors. does mythical or relgious-themed art appeal to you for some reason? i am inclined to believe you are a lover of travel. you might find other cultures to be fascinating and englightening. you are capable of being a great student in the subjects of philosophy, law, or politics.
saturn in virgo in the 12th, when paired with a predominance of the fire element, makes me see a workaholic tendency.
mars in leo in house 11 points to someone concerned with ethics or human rights. you place social jutice to a high importance level. you're probably a passionate arguer and have no qualms in stating your opinions. you could be a leader type and probably factor into your social circle prominently.

Lol

if you guys want fortune-telling i'd be in the numerology thread checking out those links ;)

^lol :D

Saturnine, no need to be intimidated, I am yet only a student who hopes to be a teacher someday... and my chart confuses even me. :D

Sun conj Moon indicates a fairly well-integrated personality in any sign - for better or worse. My Moon is applying to (i.e., trying to catch up with) my Sun. It's certainly true that my emotions come before and shine through my outward expression, whether I like it or not.

Uranus in 2nd - I FREAK OUT about money but it always bounces around from the most unexpected places. It's exalted in Scorpio, and I've received legacies and inheritances that have made me financially solvent during lean times - almost out of nowhere. Jupiter's transiting it right now... it's the 10th anniversary of my mother's death (source of said legacies, etc) so I'm not sure how it will manifest. Regardless, money comes and goes, and I take it as seriously as I think it's worth at any given moment provided I have my own roof and my own food.

Neptune's the anchor for my Grand Trine - if I don't have dreams, then I have no purpose (11th house stellium in Leo/Virgo) nor do I have an identity (Sun/Moon in Aries in 7th - do note that most astrologers interpret my Sun in 8th because it's so close). My friends, dreams, and personal gifts dictate where I go in my life. I guess that's how the Grand Trine manifests in my chart.

Chiron in 8th (unaspected) IMO points to me internalizing other people's problems. I do that heavily but it feels natural and I can't remember ever complaining about taking care of others or advising them, even with tough love.

Venus in Gemini (unaspected) - my partner has a very different background as my own, we met through the internet, and aside from that... I LOVE travelling, it's my joy and if I could spend the rest of my life as a nomad I would.

But...

THAT DAMN SATURN IN 12th WON'T LET ME! I have workaholic tendencies for sure, I've been working since I was 15. I'm working nowhere right now (kind of by choice, kind of by chance) and it's making me a little nutty.

Mars in 11th - yep, I fight for the underdog, I speak my mind and I'm an idealist. It's also at 26 Leo which is traditionally the "astrologer's degree", and the North Node/Jupiter stellium with it suggests that maybe I can make a career out of this. :)

NICE analysis. Thank you. :)

I agree with everything that has been said about RC and DM and would only like to add this:

RC - Sun and Mars in 10th, nicely placed, you'll have influence wherever you go. Sun opp Uranus means a lot of unpredictability with work and home, but the bright side: you come up with excellent ideas lightning fast. Mars in Taurus... It's in the sign of its fall and can lead to explosive bursts of anger but it can also lead to tenacity rarely found elsewhere. Moon's at 29 Sag (a critical degree) so it's leaving Sag and leading into Capricorn at the same time. I see a constant path of travel in your natal chart and a tendency toward being bored if your life is forced into stagnation by circumstance. You'd do well to travel and learn as much as you can, because you have an excellent path by which you can integrate your experience into your personal identity. Higher education and overseas travel suit you nicely. :)

DM- I'm not surprised to see the Moon figuring prominently, as from what I know of you, you take much joy in being a mother. Several planets line the border of your 4th and 5th houses - 4th, indicating home, and 5th, indicating fertility, with the IC (Immum Coeli, Latin term for the opposite of the Medium Coeli, Midheaven) at the approximate midpoint. You're much more oriented to your family and home than the outside world on the surface. Your Gemini Moon tells a different story, though - it's the placement of the wanderer, the explorer, the analyst, the reader. It looks like a nice balance provided you can integrate it all, and with Jupiter sitting on your Aries Midheaven, I'm confident you do.

wow, goddessdamn....good work mariposa! you couldn't have done a better job at picking the two most important facets of myself. my wanderlust and thirst for adventure is actually practically debilitating, it causes extreme boredom when i am not in a new experience. i sometimes hate that i married such a stable guy, who isn't ready to jump on every new adventure that has come our way (i have gotten him close to it, but no luck) he has a chance to leave his stable, and lucrative work to travel wherever he wants doing contract work, worth a lot of money, but i just can't get him to do it :(

as happy as my family makes me, it is also my downfall, since i can't now be the free spirit i used to love to be. my best friend calls me a "gypsy stuck in domestic suburbia" too true. at the same time, the only thing that depresses me ever, or i feel i need to be better at would be my children, and being the best mom possible. and every decision i make is based on what is best for the kids.

ok i totally need to start learning more about this, i have always had a slight interest in astrology, but you guys have really impressed me.

For anyone who would like to supplement these readings with other sources of personality assessment, I would suggest similarminds.org for your personality test source! Just a thought..

it's similarminds.com, just in case anyone was confused..

it's funny you bring those tests up, as i have been thinking alot lately about synthesis of the Jungian or Myers/Briggs personality types with astrology. i'd really be interested in seeing if there were any correlations to discover.

my chart was posted a few pages back..i'm a sun gemini, sagittarius ascending, moon in capricorn with mercury and mars in cancer and venus in gemini..

my personality test result :

INFP

INFP - "Questor". High capacity for caring. Emotional face to the world. High sense of honor derived from internal values. 4.4% of total population.

Introverted (I) 58.33% Extroverted (E) 41.67%
Intuitive (N) 62.5% Sensing (S) 37.5%
Feeling (F) 62.5% Thinking (T) 37.5%
Perceiving (P) 75% Judging (J) 25%

so, i was thinkin,

since i've read quite a few charts in here..

maybe someone will take a stab at mine..?

what does a comet have to do with the location of stars in the sky in relation to a date? or are you being silly/sarcastic/stupid?

Haley's comet orbits the Sun just like all the other planetary bodies, and what sign it's in with respect to Earth at any given time can be charted. Were Haley's comet not a member of the solar system, it wouldn't come back.

i have had my chart read but am still interested to see what you guys have to say.

It's really not big enough to make any material difference - and I can't find it in any online ephemeris that lists asteroids. Halley's comet also has a ridiculously elliptical orbit (it shoots close to the Sun but swings back to further than Pluto, even further than the Transneptunians) - I wouldn't count on it in an interpretation - it's not been assigned a rulership or quality and I can only find a crappy tripod page that's speculative about the comet at best. But since you brought it up, it travels inside the orbit of Venus and reaches perihelion (closest point to the Sun) while in the sign of Aquarius. I am not sure if this refers to tropical or sidereal astrology. The nucleus measures ~9.3 miles at its diameter.

Comets are traditionally associated with negative events, though I think that results from a set of superstitions. As for Halley's - it's a matter of gravitational pull, Helios - something that small is unlikely to have much of an influence over anything except if it crashes into something. :)
