Ask an Escort- by XtcgrlATL

Two paws up. :)

While I'm about the least likely person in the world to hook up with an escort, I've still found the discussion a fascinating read. It seems to me that it would be a really challenging line of work, from a psychological perspective - then again, I'm so poor in the two-legger intimacy department that it isn't much of a surprise that imagining a professional career involving intimacy is completely intimidating to me! 8o

It does seem a shame that this line of work is illegal in most jurisdictions - is there some victim here that I'm missing?

Peace,

Fausty

Youngest I've been with was I think around like 21-22. I do get contacted by guys in the 19-24 age bracket. Not a whole lot but it's hardly unheard of. Various escorts will have different ideas on seeing guys that young.

More often then not I usually don't see guys below about age 26. But it just depends on my mood and how they approached me. I think younger guys, not being as learned as older guys, are more up front when they contact me and being up front is a red flag so they get themselves written off for what they say more so then their age.

Personally I dont think an escort would turn you away at the door if you showed up and were younger then she expected.

I think I'm supposed to be the victim that's been sucked into a seedy underground life and now operates as little more then a slave to make some guy with a ridiculous fur coat and oversized feathered hat rich while I'm kept chained to a wall in the basement with only a mattress to sleep on, a willing prisoner as long as my pimp keeps me to doped up on heroin to realize how lowly a life I lead.

I am not interested in selling my life to someone else in 8-10 hour chunks for $10-15 per hour.

This, to me, seems like a false dilemma.

Because when someone who comes across as intelligently as you do figures out what she loves to do most in the world (which also adds value to the lives of others), then there's no such thing as "selling your life in 8-10 hour chunks."

In fact, it's something that I would call:

"Doing what you're supposed to be doing with your life."

Good thing I love my job, work 5 hours a day and get over 180 days off a year and get paid 50$ an hour for something I love doing.

I seen the big blue post, and my first question is for the mods. Is it cool for her to post a comparison to another job as to how much she makes? IE: "i make close to the salary of a (job name here)"?

If so, xtc, do you have a comparison?

Also, do you have preffered place in your apartment you like to do your work? Such as on the bed, couch, etc?

It seems to me that the resident SLR moderators have been fairly clear about the "no discussion of rates" request in this thread. Given the many other interesting elements of this discussion, perhaps we can simply avoid discussing rate-related questions?

I'm as guilty as anyone of a tendency to push up against boundaries, but in this case it seems reasonable for everyone to respect the request not to push this one. Cleverly poking at it only runs the risk that the mods will tire of the need to babysit this thread and it'd be closed. What's the good in that?

Peace,

Fausty

Unfortunately it's taken me a long time to get in a position where I am starting to have options. There aren't really any "entry level' dream jobs out there, I missed out on half of highschool, never pursued any other education, and up until relatively recently (the past yearish) had no real ideas about what to pursue n life so I didn't pursue any kind of actual "career" for the longest time.

It's kind of like Marla talking about Marla in the third person in fight club

"She`s confused and afraid to commit to the wrong thing, so she wont commit to anything."

and so I didn't until a boyfriend pushed me into working with computers, which I then got stuck in, didn't really like working with computers and had no prospect of going anywhere but to more desk jobs.

But now I'm finally in a position where I have ideas about what I might like to do and also have the free time and income to pursue basically anything I might want to get into career wise.

Anyways, suffice to say the dilemma is much less false seeming when you are one of the many people that gets stuck in a rut. My next to last "real job" had me in the same hiring class as guys n gals that had been working with computers for years, many of whom had various degrees and qualifications and still couldnt find anyone to hire them for anything more glorious then a 12 dollar an hour job answering phones for tech support.

Just the bed :) If I had a nicer furnished place then I'd probably spend some time chitchatting on the couch and turn up the heat bit by bit. I'm sure clients would dig it but my "$75 Black Metal Futon" craigslist special of a couch isn't up the job. My apartment isn't like a mess or anything, but it's very "college age" at the moment.

In my experience I would never want my work to be centered around a love of mine, it may just be me, but as soon as you start placing boundaries around things and working to deadlines, what you once loved becomes just another routine in your life.

I adore art especially painting, but I would never ever want to do that for a living (not that I have the talent to anyway).

I am surprised you even considered the standard 9-5 routine. You see, capable of starting and running a project/business of your own, I'm guessing you have the capital to start it too.

It's good that you dont subscribe to the lifestyle that generally accompanies the income you have.

I think you should write a book.

Im not sure if U answered this here or in the Condom Thread but it deserves saying again 'cause it may be risky: Do U use condoms for BJ? (Covered BJ or CBJ . . . they require it in Amsterdam). And,

What percent of guys ask only for BJ. (Do U dislike that 'cause U don't make as much $$$?)

What percent ask for multiple positions (and have the stamia for it). (In Amsterdam they start out with CBJ, move to Cowgirl and then, whatever. . . they also set rules like no touching here or there, no kissing . . . but I know U advertise GFE, which not all Amsterdam grlz allow.)

One of the four of five guys I took $$$ from came wtihout an erection in less than a minute and I gave him DO NOT DISCUSS PRICING OF ILLEGAL ACTS back but kept the rest 'cause I didn't feel lke I earned it. Would U ever do that?

Just a friendly reminder from the SLR team that discussion of pricing for sexual acts, which are illegal in the OP's place of business, is not consistent with board-wide guidelines. We have had to make a few edits to this thread. If this happens again, we will need to issue warnings.

NO PRICE DISCUSSION !

Sorry Goddess, but you know the rules.

Unless something about a guy grosses me out like leakage or he's uncircumsized ( Which reminds me, I should have chimed in on the circumcision thread because in my experience guys tend to suck it up at cleaning up under the foreskin) then I do bareback BJ's. Unless I've bitten the inside of my mouth or the like.

But I'm probably going to change that in the near future.

I don't have a menu system, I have one rate that covers everything I am willing to do. Nothing I am not comfortable with can be bought for more money, and whether the guy wants to sit and play playstation 2 for 20 minutes or fuck hardcore for an hour, i expect the same rate.

Usually i am the one that suggests multiple positions, generally I start with doggy cause that offers a nice view, if it doesnt finish there quickly, then I suggest cowgirl because that also offers a nice view, usually it finishes there, if it doesnt finish there and my leg stamina starts to give out then I generally have them finish in missionary.

Would U ever do that?

Give money back? I might have in the past, but more likely it would flash through my head for an instant, I'd let my logical side brow beat my nice side, keep all the money with a smile, he'd leave in short order, and then maybe I'd feel a little guilty about it for half an hour, possibly talk to my roomie about feeling guilty and then she would think I was a dope for being the Hooker With a Heart of Gold and then I'd go buy myself a nice dinner with the money I considered giving back and all would be well.

okay, there was a question about keeping up appearances, so what about keeping up "other" appearances.

shave? wax? what? does it matter?

do the guys care or are they happy to be getting some action?

I generally just keep things well trimmed. Shaving gives me shave bumps and I don't want anyone to look at my crotch and mistake shave bumps for herpes or chickenpox or the bubonic plague.

Along with that, if someone requests a different place, do you do it? Or do you just tell them no politely?

I seen you mention that your hair was long, and since it takes you so long to redo it, if a client wanted to be in the shower towards the end of the day, would you do it?

Well my ad specifically says that I don't offer "outcalls". Depending on the mood of the day if someone calls and asks for one then I mention that an outcall costs significantly more to try and get them to come to me. If they can't do it because they're visiting and don't have a car then I ask where there visiting from, verify that against the area code they're calling from, and then depending on how the day went and where abouts they're located I might consider it.

For a client who's met me at my home before and and wanted to meet at a hotel then I'd be ok with that with the "outcall fee" being added on.

I have in the past. But it'd be situational.
