he’s very broke and angry these days and doesn’t have a job or graduate degree and had to work under a 20 something year old at a small weed testing lab but even that didn’t work out for him

i corrected him about how clinical mass spectrometry works in another thread and it hurt his ego to be corrected by someone with a phd that works for a big pharma so he just absolutely hates me ever since then.

Really it’s was a no brainer. They should have altered prescribing practices for new patients and left to old patients alone.

It’s really a good example of the medical community washing their hands of problems their treatments caused.

A classic excuse i have heard is that they aren’t trained to treat physical dependence or addiction. So they implement practices like reducing people’s doses are shocked when those people run through their scripts early or do other behavior similar to people that have a substance use disorder and cut them off cold with some shit number for treatment.
