Are you attacted to mates outside of your race?

Awesome responses! However, I don't think any gay/lesbian/bi/tran/queer people have answered? I'm also very interested in what they think too. If you're Gay/Lesbian, what do you prefer? If you are bi, do you like your men to be of a race different than the ladies you see?

I occasionally indulge in bisexual behavior: I love white men and black girls. I guess I'm so much of a narcissist the only girls I like, are the girls that look me! :D

I'm sure other sexual deviants have answered. ;)

On thread: No, I'm not attracted to women outside of my race. Or at least I have never been up to this point.
(I'm a woman.)

ew... erm... yeah... not that.

ok, let me rephrase. curvaceous strawberry blonde who grew up on a tobacco farm in the countryside. i guess that should be adequate to illustrate the racial and cultural variety i can be attracted to.

I'm not necessarily bi or anything but I think white females are fucking sexy. Well certain ones such as Kat Von D and more Kat Von D and she is mixed with mexican though.... I think mexican has to be. I also think Lil Debbie is fucking hot... Shit I'd fucking be all over that anytime of the day... (Lil Debbie use to be in wgm with Kreayshawn).

Nope. I'm a white male and I'm generally only attracted to white women. With occasional exceptions.

I'm a white girl, I mean as white as they get, super fair skin, brown eyes brown hair from sunny california, and I don't do it on purpose but my last 4 boyfriends have all been from different asian ethnicities and they are all my same height. Which is weird cuz ideally I would love someone I could wear heals with and have the all american child with eventually, but I never end up dating those kinds of people. Sometimes our instincts overpower what we think we may want. But I couldn't be happier :)

Oh and even if I am with a super cute white guy hooking up and what not something never "clicks" no matter how hot, or popular or yada yada

i had never fucked anyone outside my race til was a punk rock vagrant in seattle. i got a korean boyfriend with AMAZEBALLS hair for a little while, nothign serious. subsequently, a semi sugar daddy weird thing who 1/3 white, 1/3 black, 1/3 mexican or something. i can't DO MATH ITZ HARD FOR SLACKERS. and a black boyfriend from rehab who was much too much like me for it to go anywhere. and now, my half mexican is beautiful with great eyebrows like dave navaro and it is soooo lovely. i wish i was mexican and not a whitey with makeup eyebrows =[

When i was younger, i didn't care If i dated outside my race, but now I reliaze we are so much different than other races, it won't work out. So I pretty much stop dating outside my race.

It was used as a racial identifier up to early rounds of the US census, when the intent was clearly to differentiate mixed black and white people from white people. Here's a little more info on the racial terms of the era
:
The term quadroon was used to designate a person of one-quarter African/Aboriginal ancestry, that is one biracial parent (African/Aboriginal and Caucasian) and one Caucasian parent; in other words, one African/Aboriginal grandparent and three Caucasian grandparents.[2]

The term mulatto was used to designate a person who was biracial, with one black parent and one white parent.[2]

The term octoroon referred to a person with one-eighth African ancestry;[3] that is, someone with family heritage of one biracial grandparent, in other words, one African great-grandparent and seven Caucasian great-grandparents. As with the use of "quadroon", this word was applied to a limited extent in Australia for those of one-eighth Aboriginal ancestry, in the putting in place of government assimilation policies.

Terceron was a term synonymous with "octoroon," derived from being three generations of descent from an African ancestor (great-grandparent).[4] The term mustee was also used to refer to a person with one-eighth African ancestry with mustefino refers to a person with one-sixteenth African ancestry.[2] The terms "quintroon" or "hexadecaroon" were also applied.

The term griffe or sambo has been used for someone of three-quarters African heritage, or the child of a biracial parent and a fully black parent. [2]

wtf? lol

US Government Official to staff: ''Sir, your office is located in the left wing of the Building... your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make up some names for non-Caucasian folks.
You will be supplied with a handbook to help you in this important endevour. Good luck Sir.'' *Handshake*

Though I find this thread to be a bit shallow, I don't have a strong cause to begin a new one.

If this is true
I heard of a study where women where asked to smell the sweat of different men and say which one did they find more attractive. There are basically 6 different *ethnic-defining-chromosome-whatever-things* and the smells that women found more attractive was the one from the males with the fewer *things* related to their own. SO, technically one should feel attracted to other ethnic groups because we are naturally determined to find diversity (i.e. stay away from our cousins).
I would agree.

I spent 2 nights ago on a date/long night with an east Indian and the next morning did. NOT want to shower. Just had the scent of him all over my arms and was taken to higher places just smelling my arms :) It is what it is.

The stereotypes are true in his case. I didn't give in to sex with him, but impressed him with my sweet, truthful, and innocent qualities. (I took extra effort in making sure this was the case.) We made out all night in his bed.

He hasn't called me back or responded to my texts. I killed him with kindness :D I feel sooo good about how I handled that.

(If you didn't know, the stereotype is that Indian men think of white American women to be easy and disposable sex objects.)

I'm Latina, but I rarely find myself attracted to Latin guys. I'm mostly attracted to white guys, although I have been attracted to men outside of that. I'm by no means exclusive to white guys, it's just a personal observation.

Not as a "mate" but I'm recently becoming acquainted with a hot mixed race black dude.

Generally, I like white women, but women from other cultures intrigue me..in particular Indian/Middle Eastern I find seriously beautiful, and I'd love to sleep with a black chick...I think that's next on the list - black woman/black man - they can be mixed race thought (hybrid vigour ftw!).

lol ya we all know :p (lucky cunt) - I FOUND a black chick I wanna fuck...but I haven't actually met her yet. :/ she's a friend of a friend and she lives in London, and I commented on a picture of her on facebook and she added me...should meet up sometime in the next few weeks/months

i don't even acknowledge the term "race". there're different ethnicities and cultures. i've dated a southern belle, a south african and a few vietnamese. i married a chinese. i'm australian with eastern european ethnicity.

word up my eastern european ... uh... ... ... what do we call each other? Comrade wouldn't seem right since it's no longer the 80s. Actually, it's funny to note that in eastern europe you see a bunch of people who fervently identify with their nationality but you can still see in the faces of some of them mongoloid traits, and in others you see germanic traits, and even people with indo-aryan and indo-iranian traits. It's really the true melting pot out there.

Well, living in Toronto virtually every person I pass by on the street is of a different race. The area I live in now has a lot of Indians living in harmony with Pakistanis and Japanese with Chinese. I'm actually the minority in this area, most shops around here have their signs written in any number of languages. Anyway, when I see an attractive girl of another race I end up wondering weird, kinky things about how her ethnicity and culture would spice up a potential relationship. Then I end up in an ethnic restaurant to check out some waitresses
