Are small ass water pipes worth it?

Something like this. Or even something more bland like completely clear chillum (cost like $10-15). that way if caught in the act of smoking you can toss it. AND you can make it look like you're smoking a cigarette from a distance.
But "small ass water pipes" are cool too. cost about the same as a cheap chillum and don't get clogged if you take care of it.

chillums are cool for some people. i really prefer a carb on my pipe though.

Small water pipes are worth the price (maybe $30-$40) but I wouldn't recommend it for trying to be discrete. I'd say the chillum or a small pyrex pipe is way easier to put in your pocket and take outdoors.
 
Don't bother with Joints man, there sadly wasteful. Getting a small water pipe would work well, there not hard to clean out and easy to prepare.
 
my 3 little bubblers... 2 all glass... one with a grommet... all have carbs... i use them for "portability" not for any other reason... unless im just hella lazy to stand at my sink for 5 min and shake some grunge off in my few bongs after using... i keep them clean... after every use i rinse, grunge off/shake, micro fiber wipe and air dry... all 3 in the following pic have been used about 3 or more times...

the malino is by far the better one... its size is perfect and it can hit pretty well... i prefer HOT water inside over cold due to the fact that it wont burn my throat as easy... just a personal preference...

the other two are okay one is too tall and the crack pipe looking one is kinda harsh as it lacks the water to smoke contact to help filter...

after using a really good bong it was hard for me to use any of these... so i will be buying a perculator bubbler ;)

Sadly, I don't use it much anymore, as I mostly vape. But on special occasions I'll bring him out, along with some other pieces.

So anyway, I have this awesome combo that I like to call "Blue Master," as I grind up Master Kush, and Blueberry in the same grinder, and mix them together in bowls. Delicious.


And bathrobes > clothing. Just putting that out there.

I could buy some dank and hit it out of a one hitter but that seems so inconvenient and frustrating .. so i may just polish up my rolling skills. Cause one hitters dont seem to get me super high and they also get clogged as hell.

Thanks for the tips. Ive been smokin fer years but i typically only vape or use giant bongs. Wouldnt be averse to going with a pipe tho but it looks a little more lame in daylight .. Granted pot is decrim where my parents live but I dont want to cause any kind of stir with their neighbors

Small bubblers can get bad clogs but I doubt that'll be happening over a short stay. Should be a few weeks before you have to clean, unless you're really smoking all day.

I agree with you on the one-hitters... dont know why they're so popular.

Joints can waste a ton of weed or not that much depending on how well they are rolled. Also as you probly know they're finicky, sometimes the weed is too wet or sticky and the joint won't burn properly, or the weed is super dry and will smoke too fast. If it's too sticky throw a lil tobacco in there, that'll do the trick.

If the joint is rolled well I'd say it's as efficient as a moderately efficient bowl.

Basically aim to roll it sorta tight but not too tight and put enough in the mouth end that you have good room to pull (you can always roll with the roaches so don't be stingy). Those are the two things I've learned most recently I guess.

If it were me I'd go for the joints, they also look much cooler imo, there's something very casual and relaxing about smoking a joint.
 
i LOVE my bubbler. its what i mainly use to smoke nowadays since i broke my pretty purple glass peice. :( i smoke quite a bit and usually have to clean it once a week. sometimes ash gets down in the hole but its easily fixed using a toothpic or large saftey pin or something of the like.

Are you discussing a small bong, or a bubbler? Small 'ass' water pipe can mean too things! Either way I advise investing in one, I wish I had a bubbler rather than a pipe at the moment so I could get better hits, if you're considering smoking regularly definitely consider one, or make a lung and leave it somewhere in a bush.
 
I definitely think they're worth it.... I had one for that purpose, because a bong at home w/parents isn't practical.

The one I have is like 5 inches tall, and with water, it hits better than any dry piece. Wasn't much more expensive than a decent dry piece of similar size, and works fine without water. I found that I didn't use the water as much as i imagined, because i would have to carry this little thing with water in it ready to spill, often being careful not to be seen, and wound up spilling it all over myself often, which of course does little to help evade detection. So I only used water when my parents were asleep, otherwise I used it dry.

I own a bubbler and I love it more then anything!
Its so small and compact, yet gives mad hauls and gets me mad baked. Like a bong for the car.
 
i have a 1inch bubbler that takes about 3 drops of water to fill, rips so much harder than a bowl, and doesnt hurt my throat nearly as much. its a good bowl rolling utensil also because its so small. if you want smoothness get a diffused bubbler. diffusers are little holes in the downtube of the bubbler or the straw-like glass tube going into the water that make an extra bubble to cause more filtration. go to a headie shop and ask if you can get a small diffused bubbler theyll help you out. ive had at least 20 bubblers, small and large, and none were much of a hassel getting clogged. just like other people say, stick a toothpick down the hole and instant fix
 
OP-yes they are.

I have a small glass bong it's 6.5 inches and hits great!

I took my first bong hit off of a 4 inch graffix bong that my friend had and that worked fine and a friend of mine had a mini-hookah bubbler type waterpipe that was maybe 3 inches and it cooled the smoke very well.
