Just recently purchased an oz of Calea from a particular shaman which i am..., finding out about it through my recently renewed interest in oneiromancy and oneirogens. I can attest that, it definitely works wonders. The doors to the dreamworld have been kicked off its hinges as I've been able to recall (and mistake for reality the next morning) about 5 long, crazy fucking dreams after ingestion.
I personally ingest it in the traditional way of tea then joint in silence.
For the tea, I've read of people making teas out of like 8-15 grams.. NO, you DO NOT NEED THAT MUCH! I use about 1g or less of it in a tea bag (chamomile mint) with 2-3 additional tea bags of chamomile mint, green tea & peach or cinnamon; this is done to obviously mask the gutwrenching bitterness of it, mint is most effective Honey + a fuckton of sugar required, the resulting brew tastes quite pleasant with only traces of the bitterness lingering. At this point one can easily gulp it down in 3 gulps max. Also, you can strain the tea a good few times before it loses its effectiveness (adding more water and reboiling the remnants) around 4-5 more times.
For the joint rightafter I just roll a faaat one using king-sized Zig Zag paper, smoke the entire thing and feel as though I'd been smoking the joint for hours. Immediately after I retire to bed where, rather than finding one position comfortable for 10~ minutes then having to toss and turn or feeling tingling sensations which snap me out of my meditation/concentration, I can lie in peace in one position with EXTREME mental clarity. The tea + joint route is far more effective than either method alone (many reports of failed attempts with calea I've read have only utilized one route) which leads me to believe there are different alkaloids active from both oral ingestion and burning. You will not be disappointed when you fall into blissful surreal realms
Also it is very synergistic when combined with weed and on its own when not used for sleeping purposes it is a excellent meditative aid and relaxer. I am unable to feel stressed or phased by things which normally would screw with my day and instead I am able to calmly and rationally work through things. This mental clarity and tranquil disposition last for much of the day.
The Leaf of God, for sure.
