Apple Cider Vinegar

ive used apple cider vinegar to get rid of candida which is basically a yeast infection in your stomach that causes all sorts of problems ranging from depression to constipation, etc.
id mix it with different foods or even take straight shots of it.
along with a pretty strict diet i eventually got rid of the candida so i'd say it worked for me.

I take a bath in ACV every night, and I swear by it. I used to take Epsom salt baths, but ACV shits all over Epsom salt. I haven't worked my way to swallowing it -- yuck! -- but one day soon I shall.

^^are you still using that drink? or using just straightup ACV?

and would you recommend ACV or a legit supplement to help lose weight haha?

I am still drinking it with the juice b/c taking shots of it is pretty sour :)
Would I recommend it for weight loss? I think that the studies and articles I've read thus far show that it helps with water retention, constipation, aiding in digestion- so in those ways I think, yes, it is good for weight loss.

dude its soooo sour. ill take one shot of it in the morning and itl buuuurn haha. it tends to make me less hungry, i think because of the sour taste it leaves.

I use it to clean cuts, etc...

Slightly off-topic, but you can also use honey to heal cuts as well; no need to buy medical supplies :)

I have also found that apple cider vinegar does wonders when used topically but when it comes to cuts I would be hesitant to waste nourishing food when rubbing alcohol and cotton gauze will do an adequate job for cheaper.

Used to take apple cider vinegar internally as well but the potential downsides I learned about seem more problematic than the positives.

well, it's acidic as all fuck. i mean we wouldn't drink spoonfuls of white vinegar or wine vinegar, would we? the only reason we drink apple cider vinegar is because someone somewhere decided it's incredibly fucking healthy and frankly the proof of its benefits are shaky at best so i'd rather err on the side of caution and trust in the more obvious detriments.

Vinegar helps with... heartburn? Whaa? Can anyone attest to this? It seems so illogical, since acidic/vinegary foods are practically what causes my most wicked heartburn. I'm wondering if it works.

this stuff is good for EVERYTHING! If your trying to add it to a drink i reccomend the "Spectrum" brand over the "Bragg" brand (those are the two most readily avail in my area) it has a smoother taste and a little less bite. The benifits of ACV are endless really and actually ive aquired a taste for it and drink it straight out of the bottle. Its great for your skin too, add some to your bath water

I used to use it a lot, but got away from it because of the taste. I'll have to give it another try.

Honey is an excellent topical antiseptic, as long as it doesn't get diluted. There are actually wound dressings that you can buy that have honey impregnated into them.
