My advice:

Stick in glass of Methanol, acidify slight, filter out solid shit. Then wait till it drys grab like quarter of a bag of tobacco mull it in and roll some smokes. Only tried this once, its about the best thing i could think of but still not pleasant. Instead of this situation i got a job....


Edit: I smoke bong so it was with a very dirty bong.

I'm sure there is a way to extract the thc but it would be a long process and fo sho not worth it. Good call on not smoking it though...I only do that when I'm suuuper desperate lol..

honestly, its not a long process....

Disolve resin in 90% iso alcohol. Should produce blackish liquid....
Filter through something, folded paper towell will get most of the shit out....
After you filter you should be left with a much more palatable amber color.
Leave to evaporate completly in pyrex dish, hot water bath to speed up process if desired.

Scrape, consume how you will...

If you wished to just filter and drink (might still carry a taste) you could use a minimal amount of everclear instead of iso....

In the past i have just evaporated the filtered stuff down to the point where a bit of liquid was left... ground up some bud and used that to scrape the still moist residue.... leave this to evaporate to dryness and smoke....

well i was gonna say the best thing to do with pipe resin is to clean it outta your pipe and throw it away but after reading your OP i would give putting it in gel caps and eating it a try. i mean resin is filled with nasty shit but i am fairly positive that eating it wouldnt do much harm.

If resin didn't do you any harm then you wouldn't cough it up out of your lungs every day after you smoke heavily for a long time. (And that's just the common sense view of the issue).

I smoke tobacco with my weed personally so I'm not worried about what harm a little resin does my lungs. I smoke it anyway when Im dry and I find the mixing helps with the taste. smoke out of a bong and clean the hell out of it after.

Why is everyone claiming it gets you blazed as fuck? If you're a habitual weed smoker it will get your high for 20 minutes then make you feel like crap.

It's definitely only for when its 6am and you've been tossing and turning all night and want some releif, but to get high on? Its absolute fucking shit.

Seeing as THC is not soluble in water, maybe try soaking resin in water, and then filtering out remaining solids with a very fine filter.

huh?^? if its not soluble in water then it wouldn't filter at all, you'd have to do it in alcohol (which I think would be a good idea to try)

Smoke that shit. Resin gets you fucking baked, but it lasts like 15-20 minutes shorter then a regular high. I don't care how grimy people say it is, but resin is cool with me.

The best way I've found is to save all of your keef. ESP if it's chronic. Work that in with the resin, put it in a pipe, and get wayyy high. Doesn't taste horrible either. you're all welcome

i smoke resin when i dont have any weed , not neccisarily when im desperate but i find its not that bad , i dry it on foil mix it with a bit of spin and smoke small cones and it only takes me 2-3 to get stoned depending on the quality of weed i was smoking . its really not that bad lol just tastes like shit and is harsh .

It's easiest to make a bed of ash in your pipe and place your ball of resin on top so it doesn't melt through your screen and back into your pipe.

Also, after collecting it I like to put it in the freezer on the tool i used to scrape my pipe. This way, when handling it while putting it in the pipe it won't stick to your fingers.

i use scissors to get the res out of the hose in my bong , then scrape it onto foil and hold a lighter under it till its dry , then when i smoke it again through a bong it just turns back to ash . idk if pipe res is different or not ?

Pipe resin is just different in that its not wet and nasty its nice and dry and sticky.
